I saw this trend going around on Twitter where people made Miku designs based of their countries and I wanted to participate in it 🥰
While I am Australian I am not Aboriginal/Indigenous ((Well, on my Mum’s side according to her family she has ancestors who are but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t count concerning me)) however I still wanted to include this aspect into my Australian Miku’s design as Aboriginal/Indigenous people were the first people of Australia, they are part of Australia’s history and because of that I felt that they should be included/represented too.

I’ve been seeing everyone drawing miku in their nationalities, so here is my rendition of an Aussie miku!
(Note: I’m not aboriginal, this post is not meant to imply that. I am simply a quirked up white boy)

I haven't seen anyone do this for a while BUT I have been meaning to do it for while. Sorry for the quality, both of the photo and the art lol. I didn't use a reference (there aren't many references for people riding emus) so I'm kinda happy with the anatomy. Also it's only a sketch because I'm too scared to ink it.
I know this is a very "white Australia" version of Australian culture. That being said, it's what I grew up with and I just don't think I have an understanding of Indigenous Australian culture to be able to do an indigenous Miku justice.
