BULFORD, ENGLAND. 1916-09-27. HM KING GEORGE V, SIR NEWTON MOORE AND MAJOR GENERAL JOHN MONASH REVIEW

BULFORD, ENGLAND. 1916-09-27. HM KING GEORGE V, SIR NEWTON MOORE AND MAJOR GENERAL JOHN MONASH REVIEW 3RD DIVISION TROOPS.

John Monash is a real hero of the war. Born into a Jewish Family, Monash and his parents moved, first to England and then to Australia from Germany. A real visionary, he meticulously planned operations that, today, would be considered "combined arms" with limited, reasonable objectives that preserved men and materiel. When you think about the Hundred Days at the end of the war and the Allies finally made progress, He is the architect. For the Kaiser, oh what irony!
