aloe : how does your muse handle grief ?

He tends to process his emotions a little slowly, especially if there's something else he can focus on to put it off. He tends to feel things very strongly, and so he naturally looks for something external to direct that energy towards. Joy, anger, just about anything-- he simply finds it uncomfortable. It doesn't help that he is also inclined to internalize those emotions at the same time, closing off and throwing himself into his next task.
Grief is especially difficult for him to handle, and it's liable to overwhelm him entirely if he doesn't keep himself grounded. He struggles a lot with attachment to begin with, and so the loss of someone close to him is especially unbearable. To build that love and trust, and then to lose it... it's not something he can easily just shake off or ignore like he normally would.
While experiencing grief, he will likely be colder and harsher, and will likely avoid speaking about the topic altogether, whether that entails changing the subject or shutting down conversation entirely. It's not necessarily intentional, but it is his attempt at maintaining control over himself.
Allowed sufficient time to himself to process his feelings, he'll be alright. He doesn't dwell on negative feelings, and is always looking for an escape from the pit of despair-- at least back to the more neutral ground that he considers a comfort zone.
3♦️ - How does your muse handle indecision?
There are two reactions he has to indecision, and they often follow one after the other: first, he tends to freeze. As something of a perfectionist, he's prone to wanting to reach the "correct" answer the first time, even in situations where there isn't one. If that doesn't magically yield the results he wants, or if there isn't time for it, he tends to just go for something, anything, and deal with whatever consequences follow that.

With a frown, Kakyoin gazed out over the street through the window, absently raising the blinds further out of the way as he watched the rain fall in heavy grey sheets. His expression only deepened at the low rumbling overhead, and at last, he turned away from the glass, reaching for his cup of tea that he'd had sitting nearby.
❝I was hoping it might hold off just a little while longer,❞ he admitted with a clipped sigh, taking a seat beside his colleague. ❝I don't mind storms, but I would have preferred it if I were home first.❞

"Mr. Joestar and his grandson will be returning soon from their business trip? That is good to hear. What of the sweet young lad who went with them for his studies? The one who'd taken such a shine to Mrs. Kujo?"
The silence over the phone before the careful reply was enough to drop her heart into her stomach. "An... an accident. I see. Please, let me know what I may do to aid with the funerary arrangements."
It hardly seemed fair. Mortals already had such brief lives. For one to be cut off before even reaching full flower was a tragedy.
