100% THIS!!! Y’all don’t even know. For the longest time, I was just a bts stan. I loved and listened to many other groups, but it was casual and I didn’t “stan” them (yet). However, even then, I would get kind of offended when I saw other armys attacking other bands (or fans) for no apparent reason?? Like, sure you can like just bts, but what do these other groups have to do with it??? Like, I’d get lowkey triggered and protective of these other groups, even though I hadn’t stanned, just because why on earth do people feel like they need to put other bands down if they like only the one? Finally, after I graduated this year (from hs), I was so happy because now I actually had the time to stan other groups! Literally the only reason I hadn’t completely “stanned” other groups was because I had no time to keep up with all of them while trying to graduate. But once I was a multi, it was ALL OVER. GUYS I LITERALLY HAD TO DELETE TWITTER. I would get so mad that all of my favorite bands were being attacked by fans of my other favorite bands and it was so ANNOYING! Plus, cancel culture is so toxic and annoying. I just don’t really do social media anymore (except tumblr obviously). Honestly, being a multi is so hard. Not only do you have to keep up with the monstrous amount of content lol, but you’re also always stuck in the middle of stupid fan wars, most of which start with one stupid idiot who tweets something obviously meant to get reactions. Then, all the fans of the band they made fun of/insulted/whatever start to insult the band of the fan that said something stupid?? Like, apparently logic has left the chat because what on earth did the bands do other than exist and be beautiful and talented?????? Anyways, that’s my rant bye.
