“You.” Jungkook is rudely awoken by a tiny chubby index finger impaling his cheek.
The voice he hears has his eyes snapping open urgently. The image of the Park Jimin sitting on the end of his disheveled bed, fully clothed and looking distinctly untouched sobers him immediately. And did Park Jimin take a shower in his house? The younger can’t find the will to speak; can’t believe the senior Park Jimin is in his room, getting dressed after staying the night. All the day after he was supposed to confess to his best friend.
“Let’s keep this little event between us, hm?” he pecks the younger on the forehead absentmindedly and Jungkook nods dumbly before Jimin saunters out of the room.
What Jungkook didn't know is that this would be one of many events to occur in the coming months.

A little explainer on what happened with AO3:
Basically, someone or a group of someones decided to levy a DDoS attack. What this means is that they created a botnet (network of devices controlled by a bot, usually run in the background of an unsecured IoT device or computer being used for other things. Think data mining) to flood the servers with false requests for service.
What this does mean: AO3 might go back down, if the attack is relaunched. These types of attacks are usually used against businesses where traffic = money, thereby costing a company money. This isn't really an issue here since AO3 is entirely donation and volunteer based.
What this doesn't mean: stories, bookmarks, etc will be deleted and your anonymously published works will be linked back to you. No vulnerable points are breached during this process, so unless this group ends up doing something else, no data breaches will happen. You are safe, your content is safe.
Admins are saying the site is functional, but to PLEASE have patience and don't mass-refresh

We've temporarily disabled the ability to request a new account invitation as a preventative measure due to a spam attack. If you already have an invitation, you can still use it! However, anyone currently in the queue will not receive an invitation until we turn it back on.
Additionally, we have temporarily disabled the form on the Technical Support & Feedback page and taken the Policy Questions & Abuse Reports page offline. Anyone attempting to access the Policy Questions & Abuse Reports will receive an error page about being blocked from archiveofourown.org, but don't panic -- this is not the case! Lastly, the Organization for Transformative Works' donation page -- which is hosted by a third party provider -- is currently offline due to a DDoS attack. This is the only donation form the OTW uses, so please be cautious of scammers impersonating AO3 or the OTW to solicit donations. We are unable to take them at this time.

OTW Website and Donation Form Are Down

As of now AO3 is back up. However, in the past hour the OTW website and the donation platform have become inaccessible. We believe it is part of the same attack first made on the Archive. We will be providing updates via this account.
We also want to alert fans that on Twitter someone is using the name AO3_Status_ (note the second underscore). If you are on Twitter, please block and report this account.
The fake account is impersonating our service status account and attempting to scam AO3 users out of money. Fans on all platforms should be wary of anyone soliciting money on behalf of the OTW or its projects at this time. (The real donation form is currently down due to a DDoS.)
Open Doors and Legal Advocacy pages are also not available at this time. Our Fanlore project is being worked on and should be back today. Our Transformative Works and Cultures site has not been affected. Thank you for being patient while we restore services!

The donation link is being attacked by DDoS now, and there is a fake ao3 account on Twitter trying to scam people and suck in the donation money!

We all know about the DDOS attacks on AO3 as it is still down. So it is very important we talk about the KOSA(Kids Online Safety Act) that is going to hit the floor soon. Because if that act goes through this could very much be the new reality of not only AO3 but online fandom spaces within the next year. The point of this act is to limit queer media and to eliminate online queer spaces.
Let me stress, the politicians are lying to you. Democrats and Republicans are lobbying for this. It is not pro trans rights and it is not pro lgbtq rights. This is very reminiscent of the Restrict Act! Politicians can SUE websites for having QEEER CONTENT. This act will not protect kids, it will further separate and marginalize the queer community!
If this bill goes through AO3, Wattpad, TikTok, Tumblr, and Twitter will be limited and fanfiction websites could be wiped out all together. If you are apart of fandom spaces pay attention and ACT! Call and email your senators! AND SIGN THE BELOW PETITIONS!

Fanfic Update
Since Ai no Toshokan/Library of Love is a slice of life fanfic. It takes within a week to write and post withouy too much pressure. The newest chapter however is much more longer. I don't wanna ruin the surprise or give too much out. It's taking like 2 weeks
I was writing on google docs on chrome, on guest mode and as soon as I continued my computer suddenly turned off and chrome crashed. It all happened in front my eyes and reset my fucking tabs😭
I hate having to log in accounts for the billionth time.
