I know im like 10 years late but why did people ship stiles with full adult men when he was literally a minor. like why was this a thing 

If you ever feel bad about yourself, just remember that the st*rek fandom still believes that their ship has some presence in canon even though :

1. one of the characters of said pairing died

2. the other wasn't even present in the movie

3. their supposed Mpreg child (kill me) was deemed to be raised by their mortal enemies a.k.a Scott and Allison.

I realize that this is treated a bit like a joke, but I want to ask why Eli's name is treated as a proof that Sterek is canon.

Yeah, Elias and Eli share a similar name, but Stiles' grandfather is also an asshole that Noah clearly made an effort to keep away from his and his family's life.

So why on Earth would Stiles, a guy who loves his father more than anything in the world, would name his child after a guy that his father resents?

Is this another case of Stiles' so called fans forgetting/ignoring important details about his character? I think that is very likely.

That is what annoys me the most. Keep pretending that your pairing is the best thing to ever happen on mother Earth . I don't care, but do you have to ruin the reputation of the guy just because you are sad that your crack ship didn't sail !? Rewatching this scene. Would love to point out that Derek is not only the one yelling Stiles name when he sees Stiles is about to put himself in danger, but he is also the one who starts walking back (closer to the giant fkn beast chasing them) to keep Stiles out of danger. Not Scott. Scott stays at the door like he doesn’t even care about Stiles at all. Sterek 4 life

The irony of hating K*te for gr**ming Derek when he was 15 while at the same time shipping st*rek as if it wouldn’t have the same issue if it was canon.

reason 183 why the majority of ste/rek fics and headcanons make absolutely no sense is that stiles would literally rather kill himself than admit derek was right about anything. stiles could go up to scott and say "hey scott i think we should kill jackson just for funsies" and then derek could walk up to scott and say "Scott we need to kill Jackson. We're brothers Scott. Scott you are my brother and you need to kill Jackson" and stiles would be like "WHOAAA this guy wants to KILL someone ?! jeez i guess SOMEONE'S still a little GRUMPYWOLF about his whole family dying in a fire!!! don't listen to him scotty, we should definitely keep jackson alive" and scott would be like "stiles you Literally just told me to murder him" and stiles would be like "no i didn't, you're misremembering, that was all in your head" and derek would be like "Scott is this guy bothering you. That was exactly my experience. I went into the show expecting that at the very least they will develop a strong friendship. There has to be a reason why everyone is so crazy about them, but nope. No such thing. They had like 6 scenes that could be considered somewhat intimate if we are feeling generous.

I love when people make Scott the bad friend in fics. I know Scott is such a puppy in most peoples eyes and they say that it hasn't been easy for him but FUCK that. IMO he was such a bad friend to Stiles. He was so quick to shoot Stiles theories down and ignore him when Stiles was always the first one there for him. I love fics where Derek and his pack take Stiles in and Scott is just confused but we all know why. Like yes, push Stiles away so Derek can pick up the pieces. Stiles joining the Hale pack is one of my fav tags. Idk. I just also didn't like Scott at all in the show.
