So finally it arrives the time to make this post. SAKURA IS BETTER THAN BAKUGOU

Like when we see Naruto in its first chapters Sakura is not very likeable. I can hear the anti sakura fans saying "ah but Sakura said mean things about orphans"

Which yes she said this. Yes that is uncalled for but the difference here is....how her words come from a place of ignorance than malice.

Please! Not excusing here. Just explaining.

Sakura had 12 years old and sees Naruto- who does everything to gain attention- free as a bird and think that is the good side of being an orphan.

Again. It was all from ignorance. But one thing the scene paints and no one talks about is how...Sakura doesnt know anything about Sasuke....who is also an orphan.

And I want to point out how she did changed after that. "Ah. But she still doesnt want to date naruto" " ah but she did all that for sasuke"

1) she is not obligated to date him.

2) Naruto did pass as Sasuke using a jutso and gain a kiss from Sakura....so that is ok?

3) Sakura does treat him better but she is not obligated to date him and he always asks her out even when she makes clear she likes sasuke.

4) she never again said or did anything like that.

You can say Sakura has flaws. You can say her love for Sasuke is not great but you can't say she is like Bakugou.

She is willingly to work with others. Doesnt care about winning or be the strongest. Has flaws, has strenghts and is a good character.

Now.....Bakugou.

It doesn't matter if you read a fic where Bakugou donate a liver for Izuku to live. In canon, Bakugou is a horrible character.

Remember when I mentioned how Sakura made that orphan comment? It wasnt nice but it was out of ignorance ....

Bakugou suicide bait Izuku with 100% malice and intention. And shows no remorse (unlike Sakura who did show remorse) and contonies to be awful to Izuku.

And he doesn't changes through those 300 chapters.

Bakugou has no remorse. Bakugou makes an half assed apology trying to save his face...he shows no remorse ...and has tried to kill Izuku 2 times (maybe 3 if we count those little scenes. I rememeber one where Baku throws a snowball at Izuku...with glue or smth...TOO HURT and its implied he would do again...AND IZUKU WAS BLEEDING)

And if any bk stan is seeing this and think sakura is worse bc "huh she beat naruto for being a perv"

It is comedy. One I dont like but here the think...Naruto on the next scene is 100% fine. Izuku is not.

So I can say Bakugou is much worse.

Broke: Bakugou and Class 1-A vs. Deku, with Bakugou pulling the winning move and lording on how he’s superior to everyone else, proving once again that he’s the pinnacle of Gary Stu.

Woke: The rest of Class 1-A take on Deku without Bakugou because the bombing bastard was one shotted by Deku.

WHAT SHOULD REALLY HAPPEN: Class 1-A gangs up on Bakugou, knock him out and continue to try to appeal and talk to Deku to come with them so he can rest. Then they can help him recover and give him more motivation to keep going, showing him they’re all (minus Bakugou) truly are his friends.

Chapter 319 spoilers (AKA Bakugou Chastising and concerns. It’s Long. You’ve Been Warned)

I first want to say this. This will probably be the only time I do a reaction like this. And to any mutuals that see this that are fans of Bakugou, I will not judge you or tell you to block me on that principle alone. I have come across wonderful people that do like him, and were not rude at all in their explaining of why they like him.

It’s just for me personally, given what’s happened in the past along with his past actions, nothing will convince me he is a good character, and this chapter in particular drove me insane that I had to vent out my frustrations.

Because how I’m seeing it, he plays a large chunk into causing the coming conflict.

(If you come at me with ‘OMG READ THE MANGA DUMBASS’ or ‘LOOK UP THIS THING CALLED CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!’ Consider yourself blocked. Not interested.)

Yes. You certainly know Midoriya best.

You, who thought that the quirkless nobody was looking down on you when you fell in a creak and was simply wishing to help you out.

You, who thought that the quirkless nobody actually HAD a quirk all along and was simply hiding it just to make you look stupid.

You, who is seen to “socialize” with two or three individuals “normally”, and none of them were Izuku. And even then, they’re the ones that are force to initiate contact.

You, who when you interact with Izuku, is only for your benefit of learning all about his quirk, or to belittle him, and never to try to know him as a person.

Again, Bakugou, you have no goddamn room to mock Deku about being an All Might wannabe when your cringy ass name has “Might” in it. Sit down and shut the fuck up.

Also Iida, change his mind on what?!?!? No one asks him WHY he’s distanced himself or allowed him to explain! You all just showed up, with no indications that any of you are actually happy or relieved to see him alive, and essentially allowed Bakugou to turn it into an ultimatum!

This chapter’s name is called Friends. From the tone that I am seeing as of now, the title is false advertising.

Literally, how is it that we aren’t allowed to see anyone from 1-A happy to see Midoriya? Why isn’t anyone voicing a push to simply allow him to explain himself? Why is everyone on board for attacking a bruised and exhausted person, who they all called their friend? Why is no one acting like a goddamn hero and stepping in to help someone who clearly needs help?!?

Todoroki?!? Tokoyami?!? Asui?!?! Ashido?!? Shoji?!? Kirishima?!? Iida?!?

URARAKA?!?!?!?!?

Jesus, maybe 320 will prove me wrong but this looks like it’s meant to simply serve as Deku vs Bakugou 3 featuring all 1-A students. And that’s so stupid that NOW is the time to do it.

Whoever wins or loses, Midoriya will be betrayed by the ones he’s struggling so hard to protect. If he wins, there’s nineteen people that will be wounded and in need of medical care while out in the rain. If loses, then he’s reliving his entire childhood again, only this time, with his ‘friends’.

With fucking Bakugou leading the charge again.

I’m sorry but this chapter highlights why Bakugou continues to remain a stagnant character despite what so many people claim. And he once again shows he has no regard for anyone other than himself, especially Midoriya.

You know how he could have shown he was concerned for Midoriya? By not getting involved directly. Deku joined the others in saving Bakugou, but he prompted Kirishima to be the one to reach out and save him, the one person who Bakugou had an iota of respect for.

Bakugou could have prompted something similar. Either not be with the group at all, or join but only to be there on the off chance things go sideways. And he would allow only Iida, Todoroki and Uraraka to be the ones to talk to him, to reach out for him, to help him. Because he is self-aware that he is not good with emotions and that Deku needs help.

But fuck that! Get the whole gang to go after one person to attack, apprehend and drag him back with them against his will.

Sound familiar?

How no one else realizes this is a mystery.

Again, maybe 320 will prove otherwise, but all I can say is…I am not happy with how this turning out. And given how anything with Bakugou as the main focus usually twists in whatever way possible to make sure HE looks good, I will only continue to hate him even more.

If you are at this point, thank you for putting up with this. I am just… tired of this character. He continues to warp and ruin so many aspects of the story and he doesn’t bring anything important or interesting to the table. He destroys his own character development by himself. And he continues to prove why he has NO real business in being a hero or a main character.

To this day, he remains a spiteful, narcissistic, condescending bully that gets joy in harming others, especially Midoriya.

Fuck this character, Hori should’ve killed him when he had the chance.

Also, taking a long break from Twitter. The amount of people laughing and saying, “He needed to get in one last good jab in before apologizing” or similar things made me angry and sick.

If you stop to think about it, the second MHA movie actually highlights how god awful Bakugou is at being a hero.

As pointed out by Mineta,he doesn’t lift a finger to help the denizens of the island. Not only is this a huge red flag for someone that’s going into a job where you have to interact with people, it’s also a spit in the face to Aizawa, who has only stuck his neck out for Bakugou on multiple occasions to cover up his shit behavior. You’d think at the very least he would make some kind of effort to try to make his quirk useful in ways not used for combat. But nope, be the lazy asshole and simply let everyone else do the work for you. That’s how All Might got to be the number one hero, right? And you’d think the other students would grill him harder. But nah, let’s only lightly reprimand and laugh about him being a freeloader.

After realizing Mahoro’s illusion quirk, he goes into a screaming tangent about him being the number one hero, and gets confrontational to both kids. Yes, a high schooler is pounding his chest at two children. Anyone that thinks this man baby is still pro hero material is kidding themselves. I feel bad for Gang Orca, he suffers from coming across as an ineffective teacher where it’s simply Bakugou jumping back to his old ways.

Hagakure, Aoyama and Mineta encounter Mummy, with the two boys holding him and his creations back the best they can and Hagakure placed in the role of bystander. Remember, Aoyama and Mineta’s quirks are not well suited for prolonged fighting, and we see the effects the quirks have on them. (Aoyama gets stomach pains and Mineta bleeds from the head). Then along comes Bakugou, whose quirk we never see have any drawbacks and his equipment is designed so he doesn’t experience said “drawbacks” and is fantastic for offensive capabilities, and he calls the previous group pathetic. And ten seconds jumping into the fray, HE GETS CAPTURED. The joke characters lasted LONGER IN A FIGHT than “The Symbol of Victory” and the guy that’s supposed to be Midoriya’s equal or personal hurdle.

The second half of the movie is Bakugou’s only area of expertise: fighting, big explosions and cool visuals. The fact this happens in the first half of the movie, along with Bakugou always constantly saying he doesn’t need help, especially not Izuku’s, only to be proven how wrong he is and that he doesn’t own up to it afterwards, makes it extremely difficult to see him as a good candidate for OFA or for me to ever take him seriously or care about him throughout the movie.

Lol you pretty much highlight why Katsuki’s a useless character. Those are the only three things he contributes to the series.

Imagine having the arrogance of talking like this. And this is a thirty something year old TEACHER acting like this. This will be the last time I ever do a post like this but, honestly, I am so sick of her negativity. And the fact people LIKE her talking like this…they should be ashamed of themselves. They are only going to encourage people to cause to be ugly to each other for ships. People like her are going to help cause MHA to be remembered as a joke for how crazy people get over imagining doodles falling in love.

My second attempt at watching MHA. Now I see why people like this show! An interesting premise, Cool music, and best of all, colorful characters!

Sees Bakugou being a piece of shit. Sees how annoying, trope'y, and poorly developed he is who wastes screen time. Said screen time can be used for underdeveloped (and much better) character's. Sees how he's worshiped by the fandom as being the best character in all of anime despite giving off Sasuke vibes.

Kinda annoying that after all the trouble Bakugou causes for Class 1-A (charging at villains despite being told not to, being an ass to them, destroying their dorm rooms after losing a card game, etc) he slowly becomes well liked and called a "mood maker." Hell, after the Paranormal Liberation war arc, people are more worried about him then the literal main character...who was in a coma BTW!

Man...I can't stand his ass. I just wish that Midoriya resented him more and acknowledged him less as the series goes on, but alas, we are near the end and not a damn thing changed. :/

Welcome to Secret Games Sneak Peak:

It's been months since the recent card game ban. It started innocent enough: a simple game to pass a boring winter day. It was all fun and games until Kaachan joined. Thanks to Kaachan, not only he destroyed the dorms in a fit of rage after losing, but card games are now permanently banned. Now, not one person had a game to help them pass the time or just to have fun.

It started with Hagakure, in a fit of frustration, inviting Hinata and Ashido to her room to play a new board game she brought. Mineta (who promised to be on his best behavior) joined in, then Jiro and Uraraka, then Midoriya himself. Soon, their fun blossomed into a full-blown secret club. Midoriya never questioned the secret part, as hero students are not allowed to join or create clubs in fear of hindering their hero course’s.

At first, it was difficult to keep their activities on the down low. After all, whenever there is a large group of people in one area, there’s bound to be a few nosy people. Said people would eventually spread the word and soon…let’s say rumors will start to spread. Eventually, people will want to get a taste of that action.

Why do so many Bakugou x Consequences fics fucking balance on “I want to expel you, but Midoriya told us not to.” Like, bro, either write the fucking prompt or don’t, don’t be a coward about it. Irl, it wouldn’t fucking matter what Midoriya would want, Bakugou would get expelled for so much of the shit he’s pulled. In fact, any adult who sees a kid respond that poorly to their bully getting punished should be put in therapy, or have a note sent to their therapist

I think the least talked about reason why I dislike Bakudeku is because the idea that because Midoriya is a boy, he can’t feel hurt over how Bakugo treats him. Despite Bakugo’s abusive tendencies, and him constantly calling him “weak” and “worthless”, “useless Deku”, and physically abusing him their whole childhood, this is portrayed by fans as being cute, because it’s two boys, and seeing as Izuku is a boy, he can’t possibly be upset, hurting, or suffering in any way, despite the fact that the entire reason why he throws himself into battle, and constantly breaks himself to save others, is because he doesn’t want to be useless or worthless anymore, and how he never truly had friends before U.A. I wonder why he feels that way, I mean it’s not like he was constantly told he was useless, and isolated from his peers every other day from the time he was four by someone he considered his best friend at the time- oh wait…

If the paragraph above doesn’t make this clear enough for you, then let me ask you a simple question: If Midoriya was a girl, and Bakugo was still a boy, and treated female Midoriya like he does in canon, (using his quirk on her, destroying her notebooks, calling her worthless, constantly yelling at her and being angry when she receives praise from others, dragging her out of the dorms to fight after curfew, only wanting to atone now that she isn’t quirkless anymore, as if it was her fault he abused her his whole life, and still has yet to properly apologise and treat her better) would you still ship them? Would you like Bakugo? No you wouldn’t. You’d see Bakugo on the same level as M*neta, or En3@vour, and wouldn’t praise him for being a feminist. Bakudeku would be the one of the most hated ships in the fandom, and so many more people would be stating that “it pushes the narrative that abuse victims must forgive and love their abusers, even when they’ve done nothing to warrant it”, and how it would be romanticising toxic relationships, and how abuse is ok as long as the abuser is conventionally attractive.

So why should it be any different seeing that Izuku is a boy?

Let me preface this by saying I don't hate Bakugo. I really really don't he's a great character with amazing potential. And really ignore this idk why I felt the need to say it now of all times

My issue is with the treatment he gets, from Horikoshi and the fans too, actually from the fans especially. Like, damn, maybe he's a tsundere or whatever you wanna call him, but imagine a little with me.

A kid, around 13-14 is standing on a ledge, Pro hero Dynamite was the only one around, and this kid wants to jump. Why? He's, heck not even quirkless, he has a weak quirk, and gets bullied regularly. What exactly could Pro hero Dynamite say to this kid? What coul this man honestly say that he believes that would pull the kid back from the legde?

If you do want to show him as a good person, which, hey he's still a kid, he still can be, at least give him a realization of what is wrong?

This is why I'm unsatisfied with his apology, he sees Midoriya as strong now so he apologized, not because he realizes his actions were wrong. If it wasn't Izuku with the OFA he would never even understand what he did wrong.
