So, in this update:
You are now an adult, you survived everything life has thrown your way so far. Twenty years old now... so much time has passed since that unforgettable night.
Did you burn the previous Consort's room? Did you not burn the room? How have your decisions shaped the present in front of you?
Two years ago, Helios and Hunter embarked on a journey to Vesphire, while you were confined to your palace. In a matter of hours, they will be back. However, they won't be the only ones returning; the Imperial Army, dispatched two years prior to assist Norazaan in their war, will also be arriving with the royals of that land to express their gratitude.
A hunt has been organized to greet the guests from Norazaan upon their arrival. Whether you choose to participate or not, life will continue as usual. I trust you're ready for whatever may accompany the event.
A few additional changes have been made so...
You will have to restart from the beginning due to rewritten content and stats.

Update February 20th, 2024 - Next Week on the Patreon!
Hey everyone, it's time for the update! So real quick and to get it out of the way, I am making great progress on the new chapter. It's now up to 27k words, which means I did 7k words in a day. Some of those were copy and pasting from other choices, but in fight scenes, that's a bit inevitable. All the different variations of Strength + Offensive, Speed + Defensive, etc. etc. have been interesting to write. I really do enjoy writing fight scenes, because you can describe every character in it as doing something cool and showing off some of their strengths and weaknesses.
But, main part of this update; a sneak peek into what's going to be up next week on the Patreon! I'm excited to announce that, when I can, I'm gonna be doing interviews with known authors in the interactive fiction zone. First up to bat we have @barbwritesstuff, author of Blood Moon and the current WiP Thicker Than. That's on top of other projects based in the Ren'Py engine. Very talented individual, and I think she'll have some interesting stuff to say.
Onto the next thing you can expect next week; AN AU SHORT STORY FEATURING ELIZABETH/ARTHUR! This is a Hunter AU where the PC and Hawks are both monster hunters, and they will be hunting down an ever elusive Kelpie. This particular story is going to be a Rivals to Lovers trope, or a Rivals with Benefits trope (whichever you want to call it). The PC in this will be a little snarky to combat Hawks' ice cold personality. I have no idea how long it's going to be yet, but my guess is at least 3-4 thousand words since it's already 1100 words and they haven't even ran into the Kelpie yet.

Hello.
I have many WIPs but decided to focus on one for the "write a novel in a year" plan. January went by fine but February is giving a little bit more trouble. Is there any way to break it down to make the character, world and setting development easier?

Sometimes, the sad ending is the most fulfilling
Oh man, i would love to try the villain route but i dont think my heart can take a sad ending lol ><
Yeah, I will say now (again, I know I'm repeating, just want people to REALLY aware of how this romance is gonna be) that even though I really don't like sad endings, this romance route is not for the faint of heart and will end tragically painful...in all endings, even the super 'true' love ending.
This character is a villain. A real villain. And my villains do tend to get what they deserve.
The villain romance will be very much that 'I really shouldn't be in love with you but I can't help it' kind of romance from both sides of this romance, and those rarely end well, lol!
So yeah...it's painful :D
