do you ever talk to yourself but in your second language

i do that with English
all the time
especially when imagining having conversations
and then I'm all like
hell yes that sounds good
then it takes me a couple seconds to realise
that I'm not gonna have that conversation in english
and then I'm disappointed
because it's never gonna sound as good in german
(sometimes with other languages too but not nearly as much)
