Got some nostalgia in the mail. Ordered some very old anime and manga drawing books I used to sit and read for hours while stuck at the local library to improve my drawing skills but I could never check them all out at the same time due to their rule of 3 (can't take more than three books from the same section in case someone else wants to borrow a book on the same subject). Which sucked because I was the only person in the area that even bothered looking at the book, unless the other libraries in the circuit needed to pull it out of the library.

But now I own these books and no one can stop me from using them all at once. Of course I doubt my drawing skills will improve much, but at least I'll be able to see nice poses without having to squint at my puter screen.

old books rage at the library i spent most every day at the local library after school and on weekends and over the summer so I literally watched how many people actually checked out these books its the Christopher Hart Kid's Draw series btw not good books mind you but it helped me actually had some artist's eyes for a brief time and drew things I saw one of the best was copying the pose off a a *very* old workout tape that was so far up the shelf everyone needed a ladder to get it now the building is a legal thing... I don't remember off the top of my head but its a big brand name and the library itself is a good ways down the road in a bigger building near more gov't buildings and a rec field definitely gonna get more drawing books so I can have guides and stuff to look at
