It’s my personal HC/prediction that Jin sacrificed himself for his brother in the womb. Obviously Sukuna was sentient as a fetus. If Jin is anything like Yuji, I can absolutely see him being like “nah bro just absorb me, I want you to live.”

And maybe Sukuna thinks love is useless because Jin’s love for his twin brother led to him sacrificing themself.

Or their mother’s love for them wasn’t enough to keep them both alive if she was starving.

(Sukuna couldn’t have been a completely unwanted child, someone breastfed him and changed his diapers. Someone was caring for him. Now I’m rambling.)

Sukuna's twin story hits hard when you think about how Sukuna took his brothers very life, but Gege chooses to let us know how Sukuna never had wife or children and how he thinks that love is worthless, when his reincarnated brother had all of exactly that. My heart hurts.

Also Sukuna mentioning his mother, when Jin's mom is never mentioned, but his dad is very present. Could be the complete opposite.
