What I imagine certain characters look like! Specifically my favourites-

Specifically Alexander and Ralph but we don’t need to talk about that-

Anyways! Next time I draw him I’ll probably make Ralph not as pale, I had to make the background darker so he didn’t blend in. Beanie always looks tired, I imagine she wouldn’t be as pale now (assuming she’s a lot more healthier-). I’m also rubbish at remembering descriptions so if beanie doesn’t look accurate that’ll be why.

We also ignore that I spent Aleksandr wrong-

I felt bored and any mention of Alexander Arcady makes me really happy, so I made a playlist with songs that remind me of him.

I swear if anything bad happens to him, I don’t know how I’ll cope-

I mean come on, He is a literal personification of a golden retriever. Also he’s a bit oblivious and this song gives this energy.

Ralph : Renaissance Girl - Alybob

I know we don’t know much about him yet, however I always think of him when I hear this song. Also he gives me pretty boy energy.

Aleksandr does remotely anything and I start going crazy, I’m completely normal about him I swear.

I will cry if anything bad happens to this silly guy-

How has my design for him changed this much in two months- help-

Anyways the first one is a drawing from October and the other one is from a sort of character sheet a few weeks ago

Sometimes when I sit down and think about certain books and characters, one of the things that always come across my mind:

I always forget how young they are.

For example, At school I had accidentally read the sixth book first as I hadn’t been told which one was the first book. Whilst reading that I had the impression that they were around 18. Only when I read the rest of the series in the correct order as someone finally told me, did I realise that Daisy and Hazel were still only around 13-14?

It’s quite tragic (especially as they’re alive during the Second World War), I forgot that in the newest book they were all only 19. These kids were forced to grow up so quickly, not just because of the war, but because of their accidental environments whilst growing up. None of them can ever seem to get a break, and even when they do, something always happens whether that be small or large.

Anyways just thought I’d ramble on about this because it’s food for thought. (I underestimated how busy I would be yesterday so I’m still finishing Valentine’s Day art for certain characters)

You know, for no particular reason, if any of the characters were to die I feel like it would be Aleksandr. Which is odd to say considering he is and will always be my favourite.

Do I have any reasons why? No.

Could it just be because my favourite characters usually are linked with death, have died, have death flags or have nearly died? Possibly.
