‧₊˚ ⋅ ꒰১ ᯓ ☆ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒍, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻. Even with the child's face completely obscured by that strange white mask, it was almost TOO easy to see his expression drop.

˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤThe Gengar behind him OBVIOUSLY hadn't given up though; making the most GOD - AWFUL shriek a Pokémon could possibly make the moment the psychic specialist turned around.
"I would ask if you were Morty and if your gengar was about to scare me." It wouldn't have been the first time, nor would it be the last. However, as the psychic elite turned around, he hoped to catch the ghost type off guard.
‧₊˚ ⋅ ꒰১ ᯓ ☆ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ𝑰𝒕 𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆; one that the child usually WOULD have taken on despite his own timidness. Butㅤ—ㅤit's not really fun anymore when the other was expecting it. The duo would have to wait for a more OPPORTUNE timeㅤ—ㅤpreferably when the other forgot about this encounter and was no longer aware.
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ❛ㅤWe would give it another shotㅤ—ㅤbut it doesn't really WORK as well if you know it's coming ! A good scare is one you're NOT expecting !ㅤ❜

Will gave the child a smile. "Don't feel too bad about it; I would have detected your pokemon's presence sooner or later anyway. I just happened to have experience with Morty's."
And speaking of said pokemon...
Will winced at the unholy screech, covering his ears while giving a blank, unimpressed stare at the gengar. "You'll have to do better than that to get me," he said, fully aware of the challenge he just threw down.
‧₊˚ ⋅ ꒰১ ᯓ ☆ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ❛ㅤT - that sounds about right. Most of them ENJOY scaring people. It's kind of how I met my own !ㅤ❜
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔, 𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒓 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒇𝒖𝒍 in scaring people. But even then, some people were just not phased by GHOST POKEMON very easily anymore. Oh well.
˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤThen again, that was kind of the ONLY thing he was good atㅤ—ㅤaside from BATTLING. Oh geez.

"That is true~ I'm sure that, one day you'll be able to catch me unawares." However, psychics tended to have the ability to sense when something was about to happen, so it was hard to take a good number of them by surprise.
"Morty himself doesn't; his own Gengar is another story, however."
"Poke egg" Will giving a Natu egg to Wallace.
Wallace recognizes the patterns on the egg immediately, taking it gently into his arms.
"You do love the Natu line, don't you?" He smiles at Will, then fondly down at the egg. "We in Hoenn love them too. My Xatu will enjoy the new companion. I think she's lonely sometimes--I've been thinking of getting her a friend for a while. They're great parents, so she'll love a little one to raise. Thank you."

12. what roleplay trends do you remember from the year you started tumblr rp? how did you feel about those trends?
#3: Oh shit that's a tough one. Something I haven't really thought. about. I never tried to take after anyone's writing style, I've always just done my own thing. Maybe I would be an even better writer if I thought about someone to model my writing after, but given I only have like 1-2 hours of free time a day, I barely have time to read.
I will say this though. I learned more about writing from talking to people and interacting in the RPC than I EVER did from the classes I took for my fancy ass Ivy League creative writing degree. I do not consider myself having learned how to write until age 26, two years after I graduated that program, and I feel like I owe that more to actually practicing on my own & with others than any workshop or creative writing method class I ever did. I only remember one (1) single solitary thing that I learned for that degree, but the advice people have given me and the lessons I learned here will always stick with me. I love all you guys so much <3
#4: This is a subjective question because my favorite muse of all time rotates based on which blorbo I am hyperfixating on at the moment, and is also directly correlated with the muse who I think is the sexiest of all time. But if I had to pick one character to be my Most Blorbo Of All Time, it would have to be my fanregion champion OC, Tobias Mendelssohn. I've been on such a journey with him--originally the way I wrote him before he became a fanregion Champion, I now find weird and actually quite distasteful. But I feel like as I practiced more and researched more about Judaism (which was his religion at the time) my portrayal of him really got better, to the point that not only do my Jewish friends all love him to death, researching for portraying him and finding joy in how he expresses his Judaism was also what inspired me to convert. I anticipate I will have many more blorbos in the years to come, but will any of them be so impactful to me that they convince me to have a new religion? Doubtful.

Oh man I don't remember any except Magic Anons. I'm sad they seem to be frowned upon now, they were a lot of fun to play with and send. I distinctly remember one that turned my Lotor VLD muse into a burger. Good times.

14. which roleplay community has been your favorite to write in?
I think in my heart, my favorite RP community is Pokémon. No matter how many other fandoms I hop to, I keep coming back to Pokémon; this usually correlates with my interest in those other fandoms eventually dying while my Pokémon hyperfixations still stand strong. But you know what fandom should be my most favorite RP community? Death Note. I liked everyone I met there and never saw a lick of drama from anyone--it's the best fandom experience I've ever had and up until I was prompted to think about my fandom experiences with this question I've been sorely underrating it. If I could control my RP hyperfixations, I should probably switch them from Pokémon to Death Note in a heartbeat but as things are now, the heart wants what it wants.
In true clown fashion, Will followed Wallace around, playing what sounded like his theme music but to the tune of a rubber chicken.

He looks unamused at the April Fool's Day joke at first--and then his stern stare turns into a smirk. This deliciously petty middle-aged man is about to turn the tables. He lets out his Pelipper, which flutters onto his shoulder.
"Pelipper, won't you be a dear and sing the song of Will's people?" he says.
She knows what to do immediately. She flies over and around Will and her Drizzle Ability activates in the form of a dark grey cloud above his head like in those cartoons. Then she opens her beak and starts to squawk the theme music of the Johto Elite Four as she flies.

#2: If you had to choose between a Pokémon you really like but who isn't as strong versus a Pokémon you're less bonded to but who is stronger, which would you pick?
"What a ridiculous false dichotomy. The answer depends on the situation, and in many situations you don't have to choose at all. If I were in a low-stakes battle and yet still wished to win, I might pick the former. If I were to battle to achieve my revolutionary aims, I would pick the former because I would need the Pokémon who fought by my side to be loyal and trusted partners. Sometimes you do need to choose the stronger one in order to get the job done--but sometimes, strength also isn't everything; if I need an expert rather than a fighter, I wouldn't even care about battling strength when choosing who to fix the problem. And if I were to battle to raise my Pokémon companions' experience, I would use both--the former to increase their strength, the latter to increase our bond. Who comes up with these sorts of questions?"

Young, sassy, rebellious, morally grey, cocky ass revolutionaries who are loud about social issues and struggle with anger issues stemming from trauma before eventually healing and becoming better people
Bullies who are secretly being horribly mistreated at home with no good influences in their lives who would be much better people if only they were taught different and knew how to cope; my muses of this type usually get the chance to become better
Fucked up irredeemable pieces of shit who embody everything I find wrong with some aspect of the world; many of my characters of this type are so fucked up and irredeemable that I don't even feel comfortable RPing them and they remain only as NPCs in my characters' backgrounds
Any character who likes causing mischief, whether benevolent or malicious
Troubled geniuses, particularly of the polymath variety, who have been or will be massively influential in multiple aspects of history
Alternately, soft little meow meows who are average in every way but who are really and honestly just trying their best
