What is different about agent Smith in comparison to the regular red Ninja Kai ?
Like, do his rabbits change ?
For example maybe he stopped caring so much about his hair or playing video games or he started eating healthy. Something that if the Ninja saw him doing it they would be like "WHAT IS GOING ON ?! YOU HATE/LOVE DOING xy!"

Okay first off i have to clarify i did NOT come up with this AU !!
but i will answer anyway- just my personal thoughts!!! eherm. okay so
to answer your question anon? i did consider this, but i like to think Kai's the same case as Jay AKA overall personality retained, but just memories wiped.
Like imagine the other co-workers ask "Why'd you do that?“ when they do something out of habit and then they'd think. "Huh. Why did i do that?" and not question it ever again because they genuinely can't recall anything HA

presumably, yes! I'm imagining when they encounter the ninja they'd heavily doubt what they tell them because, well, that's not what they've been told. (i assume this has already happened in canon but I haven't gotten to that part yet,, no spoilers please)
and to answer your other question, i'd like to think they're both managers of their own departments. They're on equal footing. Maybe every office meeting they just never agree with each other.
AND because i like fun, even though they're in different departments they somehow constantly stumble across eachother! (they're neighbouring departments) and they bicker everytime. Personally i think Agent Smith would be in the disposal/destruction department, the one that was trying to incinerate the dragon core. i'm not even sure if that is a department in the Administration but whatever!!
is your agent smith art for someone you know or do you have an agent Kai au that was inspired by another one ?
I want to find as much agent Kai stuff as I can haha
He is so fun and I like how he makes Jay‘s job harder and ensures he gets more paperwork xD

Aaand before i make myself think i mischaracterised my fav characters again, i'll point out that Agent Smith doesn't really do Agent Walker's paperwork all by himself. He actually gives most of it to his department's employees. Why is he like this.
...another thing i forgot to point out in the last post prequeling this one, Agent Walker's videogames got confiscated and won't be returned until he finishes his current paperwork!! (They found out he was making his employees do his paperwork. like Agent Smith over here...)
+ the last image text says, *(Agent Walker) doesn't notice the slight reduction in paperwork nor the fact that it's TIDIED because he's too woozy
