In the cafeteria
"Okay but the Prowler" Niya said pointing at me, I flush, "The Prowler isn't a 'hear me out' if no one wants him" Jordan says as she fixes her shirt, giving Niya a pointed look that screams 'I dare you'.
Niya dares "Not true....Y/n here-" I cut her off "Hell no, how did we get here?!", "We got here, when you told us Mei's lockscreen was Swiper(DtE), then we started talking about 'hear me outs'" Nicc, explains as he breaks his forth plastic spoon,"....oh" i mutter, "Y/n has a crush on the Prowler!" Niya says a little too loudly, quieting the cafeteria, murmurs and whispers of "Thats's weird", "Who's Y/n?", "Freak". I glare at Niya, "Sorry", she squeaks, I get up, grab my bag, and leave the cafeteria, Nicc sighs softly "Give her till 7th period".
I did not come around.
"Y/n! Wait" Niya begged, Nicc and Jordan trailing her, "I can drive you home" she offers, I finally turn around, "I got a ride" I tell her with a strained smile, "Look...I'll text you all when i get home, bye" i finish, walking down the many steps when i see my brothers', Heide, car.
"Hola" he saluts me, "hey Heid" I climb in shotgun after moving the stuff on the seat, "Home?", "My Home, Heid", he nods pulling onto the road, "You should visit more, Papa misses his Bebe", he says with his eyes on the road, "Tell him his 'bebe' is almost 18 and wants a boyfriend" I say, sarcasticly.
"BYE!" Heide screams from his car as i apporach the appartment door, "Bye, H" i shout back and enter as i hear his engine start, 'I will visit' I think as i get my keys and open my door, 'someday soon'.
I throw my bag on the floor, "Honey, wheres my supersuit", I mumble, walking into the kitchen to make dinner, "Hmm, I have leftover lasgna that mom gave me? but that cheese is going to get bad soon...I'll just grate the cheese over the lasgna and bake it till it melts", I plan out my meal, placing the tray in the oven and setting a timer, walking out of the kitchen to get my bag from the doorway and head to my room.
My apartments way bigger than it should be, figures, giving my family.
My room is full of artic monkeys posters, and a singlular Prowler poster in a corner, hidden almost, tossing my bag on the bean bag, i plop onto the bed and open my phone, I stare at the group Icon for 'That one group', 'fuck it', I click it open and shoot a quick, 'Am home, Heide said hi' and close the app, opening Tiktok.
About 10 minutes later, the timer goes off, making me hop off the bed and shoot to the kitchen. I gently take out the tray from the oven and the smell wafts the air, 'best part about living alone', I don't even take a plate, just a fork and dive in, it hardly took me 10 minutes to finish, I place the dish in the sink and make my way back to bed, to write my homework.
I just had Spanish and English today so I finished at 9:46, and decided to sit by the window with a book.
Crrk~!
Claws or something, scratched the window harshly, 'huh?', I got the window open and let the cold air hit my exposed shoulders of my f/c wife-beater, 'this is such a bad idea' I think climbing out the window and following whatever it was that climbed to the roof.
"Why are you following me?" as soon as i get to the roof, am pinned against the wall with a claw raised dangerously close to my neck, "Your the Prowler" I mutter breathlessly, from the wind getting knocked from me (or some fucked up excitment).
"No shit, nina/nino"

Rio: 300/10- Super enthusiastic, tips a lot, all the queens love her
Jeff: 6/10- A little uncomfortable, not really his scene, but having a good time with Rio
Aaron: 10/10- Fantastic ally, tips, this is so canon to me you guys you don’t get it-
Miguel: 8/10- Also a little uncomfortable, definitely not his scene; gets flirted with and teased a lot by the queens but he laughs and takes it gracefully
Peter B: 7/10- Supporting by getting food and drinks from the bar, a lot of the jokes go over his head but he still laughs, maybe just a *tiny* bit trying too hard as an ally, just an itty bitty bit though
Hobie: 12/10- Gets dressed in drag too, sings along to the songs and cheers loudly, brings great vibes
Jessica: 9/10- Sings along also, having a good time with Rio and Jeff (yk ignoring how she helped hunt down their son hhhh-)

Making a post to plug my newly finished fan fiction! I published the final chapter a few days ago and have just had a lot going on since then
But here it is!! The official Prowls for Silk post! A smut heavy story about the conflicting secret identities of Aaron Davis, AKA Prowler, and my OC Vinex Devi, the small time vigilante of Brooklyn New York in Earth 42-B (its an off-shoot of Earth 42 from the actual movie, here Aaron and Miles are both Prowlers)
I was really inspired to make my own Aaron Smut because I felt there wouldn’t be a lot out there of him. Plus I was far too scared of looking up any r34 of him for fear of seeing weird stuff of him with his own nephew 🤮
This started off as some silly one-shots just for the sake of making my own smut with Aaron, but then bam! I gave it story! And I think it’s pretty good and I’m really proud of it! And unlike my other completed story about Spider-Woman, this one I fully figured the plot out on my own (and with the assistance of my best friend and artist, dee_from_webtoon) as opposed to basing it off of a movie. Nothing wrong with that obviously as I’m still very proud of the aforementioned story, but it’s a feat I’ve impressed myself with. Here are the links, and I hope you enjoy!

I cant believe I never thought about the potential of Aaron making art for Vinex as gifts before??
He’s out shopping somewhere and he happens to find some coquette, fairy-princess, ornament trinket kinda thing, something that’s entirely Vinex’s aesthetic. He buys it, and then takes a can of red spray paint, sprays it into a cup, and uses a cheap little brush to paint the hair of the ornament red to make it look like Vinex. Aaron could find a spot somewhere in the city to make a mural of Vinex, which in and of itself is a huge romantic gesture that would bring them to tears. But then it could also double as fun marketing for the club; fans of theirs would go and take pictures in front of it in their best get ups, post it, creating both buzz for the club and praise for the artist behind the mural, Vinex’s unknown-out-of-the-spotlight boyfriend. He could thrift a vase and spray paint it with all of their favorite pastels and then make a flower arrangement in it for them (I head canon Aaron as being a gardener and really into plants because in ITSV his apartment is full of plants skdjskdj-)
I’ve been seeing lots of chatter from people wanting more fanfic of Earth-42 Miles Morales, so I thought I’d post this fun snippet of him from chapter 9 of my story Prowls for Silk where the Morales’s and the Devis have dinner together!
It’s him talking with his mom and then chatting with the Earth-42 variations of my OCs Jordan and Riley. Riley’s the same age as Miles and goes to Visions Academy with him. They’ve been friends since childhood but have had some turbulence in their friendship due to their own struggles in life. If you guys like it, maybe I’ll post the other Miles snippets from this story? Let me know!
Evening. While Rio rushed to cook a large dinner for her family and their expected guests, Miles was setting the table with plates and cutlery.
“Mijo, you all ready?”
“Yes, mami,” He replied in a slight groan.
“Hey, what’s with the attitude?”
“I don’t have an attitude,” He retorted.
Frowning, Rio went over and held Miles shoulders. “Look, I know you’re not crazy about family gatherings like this, but this means a lot to me. And your uncle, too. I promise we won’t keep you too long, alright? And you can catch up with Riley! That’ll be nice, yeah?”
“Yeah, I guess,” He said with a little smile. “It’s just…gonna feel weird having so many people here.”
Rio sighed and nodded her head.
“I get it. Everything will be fine, I promise. You got everything else ready? You got clean clothes on? You smell good?”
“Yes mom,” Miles answered in slight embarrassment.
At that moment, Aaron stepped through the front door with Vinex, Jordan, and Riley after picking them all up in his car. They were each dressed nicer than usual, appropriate for an evening with close family friends.
Rio quickly went over to greet Vinex with a tight hug that was gladly returned.
“Hey you! Ay me, it’s been too long since I’ve last seen you!”
“The same to you, Rio! You look lovely!”
“Please, you’re one to talk with your fancy new chest! Am I allowed to say they look great?”
Vinex let out a hearty laugh while nodding their head, a little embarrassed but mostly delighted at the compliment.
Jordan went over to Miles. “Hey dude! How ya been?”
“I’ve been fine, how’re you?”
“Good, good. The braids are still looking fresh, you’re taking good care of them.”
“Thanks, I’m doing my best, Uncle Aaron helps me a lot.”
“Think you’ll get twists like me one day?”
“Hey, maybe.”
Riley then stepped over, subtly tapping on Jordans hand. Riley always struggled with conversation, and wanted their fathers help.
“Oh, hey, so how’s school going for you two?”
Jordan asked them both.
Miles shrugged. “Fine I guess. I hate the uniforms though, I’ll never get used to it.”
“Same, the colors on them are awful,” Riley agreed.
Miles smirked. “Nah, it’s a good thing you’re in that uniform. Your style’s so trashy.”
“Duh, that’s the point, that’s why I like it.”
“You like everything you own in hot pink and zebra print?”
“And Hello Kitty, don’t forget that.”
“You’re weird.”
“Your face is weird.”
Jordan then cut off the lighthearted roasting. “You’re both weird, especially at being friends.”
“He hates me cause I’m brave,” Riley crossed their arms.
“Yeah, you’d have to be brave to wear what you do outside of school.”
Rio then stepped over. “Are you still having an attitude?”
“It’s fine Rio, they’re just teasing each other, nothing new,” Jordan reassured.
