K so like I don't like being serious on this blog but I wanted to talk about this cuz I'd rather assume people don't know instead of sharing things that are problematic and harmful on purpose. I know I've reblogged things I've had to go back and delete cuz I was just having fun. Like I literally had to delete a deadmau5 meme this week!
So that person with the pink hair's Jeffree Starr if you couldn't tell! He was really big on myspace so pictures of him come up when ya search scene kids. He looks different then he does now and I feel like he's probably hiding somewhere on my own blog like a roach but please avoid him!
The second things wrong here, and one that's hard to see as an accident is that anorexia tag- idk what creepy motivation ya have for sneaking that in there but you don't need to be a certain body type for any reason, not for fashion, for beauty or other people. The 2000s were a horrible time for beauty standards where everyone had to be stick thin and we don't need to bring back that aspect of the culture. You're loved and beautiful just the way you are.
The scenecore/ scenemo community thrives on cringe culture is dead! Lets be ourselves and enjoy music and fashion and bright colors that's been mocked for years. But things like your body, and your identity are just as important to wear with pride! This is the great part about being in the future and having the power to pick and choose what was fun and positive and what should stay in the past.

You know, with twitter, reddit, twitch, patreon, and so many other big site’s having an uncertain future I feel like were somehow regressing back to the 2000′s internet. of hopping from website to website to find whats new and best for what you want to do. Being forced to genuinely explore the web to find major site’s for everyone to use and share their small part of the world with potentially everyone. Maybe im overexaggerating, but seeing so many sites pop up from creators saying that it will be their fall back when everything implodes really evokes a feeling of the internet becoming a larger place again. Of hopping between several sites to check on all the people you follow, rather than circling the same three places trying to see whats new. I know ultimately this hurts a lot of people who rely on large sites for discoverability, but I do also wonder what will happen in the future with social media being in such perilous position. Maybe we may see the wild west of the internet again, I can’t say for sure.
It would be really funny if instead of flocking to tumblr, the twitter refuges revived myspace. Or, better yet, WE revived myspace. I mean, theres a section of tumblr dedicate to old web stuff already, so why not claim myspace as tumblr property?
Custom cursors on your page? Hell yeah. Fancy pixelated graphics? GIve me those. Brands? Nowhere to be found as far as I know. Bonus: MySpace is probably not blocked through whatever site blocker or whatever your school/work/country is useing to limit your internet access.
Abandon Twitter. BUrn it the ground. Revive Myspace and raise it to the heavens.
