"You were just born sour, weren't you, and it drives you fucking crazy. Everyone you love has to leave you behind. Everything you touch rots," Sunyoung spits. "Taesong. Dylan. Poor fucking Dương, who only ever wanted to be your friend, and who could end up death in a ditch any night now thanks to all of your scheming, because you tricked him into falling down the same miserable rabbit hole you're stuck on. Because you can't stand seeing people thriving and being happy, Minwoo. It doesn't make sense to you." (...) "There's no way you can possibly hurt me that you haven't already. You ruined me. I loved you like a brother, and you fucking ruined me!"
WIP snippet: 'King Midas, Now Without Gold' (Working Title).
Vũ Gia Dương / Jason Vũ / J.J: Coming from completely opposite realities, Minwoo and J.J have only ever seen eye to eye when they both realized they share a commun view – nothing is worth doing, if it won't get people looking. Going on a private and potentially suicide mission trought the backstages of the Idol industry to bring LOOPiN's name into the spotlight the old Hollywood way, J.J is the closest thing Minwoo dares to consider a friend. If only he didn't have such a tragic record with keeping friends safe and close. If only he knew any better.
Notable connections: four (4) people have been found.
Park Taesong: Taesong is everything Minwoo dispises on a person – ridiculously positive, infuriatingly passive, and weak beyond his comprehension –, and he's also the only one keeping Minwoo away from the leadership position he believes will finally fullfil his need for control. As Taesong hits rock bottom right before his eyes, Minwoo knows he's got to act quick to convince his fellow bandmates that they should all follow his view of success, giving their current leader no time to bounce back and retaliate. There's nothing more intimidating and terrifying to Minwoo then Taesong when he's at his prime, succeding by living in opposition to how he does, altought that's something he can barely admit to himself, let alone anyone else.
Oh Sunyoung: A resurging figure from the past Minwoo has been fighting tooth and nail to keep hidden, Oh Sunyoung is a woman on a mission – be it to reaproach the childhood friend who filled her head with dreams of stardom, or sink Minwoo entirely for abandoning her when she needed him most back at their teen years, Minwoo isn't willing to fuck around and find out with Sunyoung and her shifty motivations to keep approaching LOOPiN despite all his effords to keep her away. But then she has to go out of her way to start dating and using Haegon, the bandmate who hates Minwoo the most, only to get to him, and now he just has to find a way to strike back.
Kwon Dongwook: A once upon a friend who now would very much preffer to see Minwoo and the majority of LOOPiN dead on a ditch, Dongwook is a past Boy Of The Week Project trainee that would have joined the group if 7 out of the 10 current members hadn't campaing hard enough to kick him out, Minwoo included. Now a popular Idol under a whole new company turned even more erratic with time and money – and a dangerous amount of drug consumption, if Minwoo's memory isn't failing to catch the warning signs – Minwoo has been growing conflicted between keeping him close for the sake of opportunity, or shutting him out enterely before Dongwook gets someone hurt again.
