♧Noodle post of the day; I FINALLY finished my (human) Lackadaisy Rocky fanart (started at the start of the month). It was inspired by the GORGEOUS opening scene from the animated pilot!!

♧I love this webcomic and the animation and the crew and just this whole universe so so dearly guys :")♡ @lackadaisycats 🫂.

♧This fanart was a BIG challenge for me! And I loved taking my sweet time learning to improve on backgrounds, lightning and colouring, and just step out of my comfort zone and experiment, until it felt like "me"!

This is definitely my biggest fan artwork to date.

☆Noodle post of the day, still working on storyboard, colours and now... thumbnail sketches! To test how I want the overall look to be on different scenes!!

Lots of work!! But Iam having loads of fun seeing this take form, and doing my best to take rests and stay motivated! It can be dificult when you're a perfectionnist who wants her ferst ever animatic to be on professional level.

Haha.

But yeah!

As you can see, I take A LOT of notes. I also developed a google sheet and a slide of 48 slides (that is not finished) with some of my ideas, references, and movement decomposition I made, all for this animatic!!

Iam thinking of doing veeery simple colouring on this. For my health's sake haha cuz I want to finish it soon.

Little Rocky and his mom... wanted to sketch a piece of what we know of Rocky's backstory :").

Here's an other drawing of Sophie Rickaby well at first it started as an artstyle study of Tracy Butler's sketch, but then humanized her real quick.

She reminds me of Julie Andrews in her role as Mary Poppins in the movie from the 60s. Warm, kind, motherly, and a big dust of musical tendencies🎶
