Let Me Get Things Straight

Guys, I am a minor, as I have said in the "About Me" post. Meaning: I cannot give money. I'm sorry, but it's true.

I am Bilal, displaced from Gaza, now living in Egypt with part of my family, while most of my family is still in Gaza. Leaving Gaza was not an easy decision, but it was the only option after 150 days of bombing and siege. Now that we are here, we feel that we have left a large part of our lives and hearts there.

Life here is not what we expected. Everything is expensive and difficult. We face endless challenges every day, whether in the cost of living or in trying to adapt to a new reality. Prices do not stop rising, and every step requires great effort. Rent, bills, food, everything seems to be pressuring us more and more.

With all this, there is a constant longing for our land and for our people who remained in Gaza. We live here, but our souls are suspended there, with every news we hear, with every new bombing, with every scream we hear. Missing my family in Gaza is a feeling that never leaves me. We are here trying to live and build a new life, but we feel that we are always waiting, waiting for something that we do not know when it will happen, if it will happen.

In these difficult times, any support can make a huge difference in our lives. Every small contribution helps us to continue and overcome these daily challenges, so that we can see a more stable future for ourselves and our loved ones.

I Found a Cute Little Thing I Made a While Back

Grian and Pearl - those two cousins who, somehow, in every reunion, they climb on top of the highest cabinet/shelf and will pull you up there with them

Gem - your older sister who loves you half to death, and if anyone hurts you, she will personally kill them

Xisuma - he is your derpy and amazing dad :3

Stress - that one super sweet aunt that will bake you cookies, give you hugs, and protect you (the best kind of aunt)

Bdubs - that one uncle who will be covered in stickers and glitter by the end of the day (you can tell he's a girl dad)

Etho - encouraging the stickers and glitter, but also, whenever you come to the reunion, he will somehow find a way to hide, scare you, and hug you

Zedalf, Impulse, Tango, and Skizz - only one of them is actually related to you, but the rest always come anyways (after all, no-one remembers who is actually related) and you think of them all as uncles

Cleo - that one aunt who will threaten to break your kneecaps, but in reality, will break the ones of those who hurt you

Joe - will help the kids put on plays and will tell them the best of stories while feeding the kiddos a ton of cookies behind Cleo's back (LOL)

Joel - that one cousin that you can poke with a stick and he'll flop to the ground but will do the most daring stunts -- well, besides Grian; he also claims to be married to the girl who is his neighbor: Lizzie

Keralis - everyone calls him Papa K because he will hog all the kids, call them sweetface, kiss and hug them, and feed them only homemade meals (now I need Papa K to babysit me and I don't need a babysitter XD)

Scar - that one cousin that you only see at reunions, and you don't know why, but Scar probably did something

False - your younger cousin how no loves to play fight, let it be wooden swords or wrestling, she will do it (in a playful way)

Ren - your younger cousin who is best friends with False, calling her "Falsie" and playing with her; is one for the dramatics

Mumbo - that one cousin who would rather be reading a book about redstone, but loves playing with Grian and Scar; quiet and shy

Doc - your uncle that is super smart and could probably help you build a bomb, but is super sweet, loves taking care of Ren, and loves playing with the kiddos

Hi friend, how are you doing today? My name is Bee, you probably get a lot of asks from bots and scammers which can be frustrating(I do too😁), but I promise this is different: 

Although sending this message was born out of frustration and helplessness, I’m willing to prove myself to a reasonable extent if you want(Send me a message). My Mom who’s been our cornerstone since the death of our dad(I was a kid) has been fighting ovarial cancer. We’ve done everything possible to beat the cancer until few months ago when we got a news that it has affected her kidney. She told us to let her die, but we are not giving up on her- she celebrated her birthday a few days ago- where a lot of people on tumblr sent their well wishes and good will messages. We turned all the messages and wishes into a blanket for her and that act made her want to live again. She said she’s ready to fight for the random strangers that believed in her. Now she needs a Ureteral Stent Placement surgery and she’s ready to fight, but we, on the other hand, can’t afford to get the surgery done at the moment as we need at least $1200 to what we already have to begin the surgery. It’s more than a week after her birthday (Sept. 11) and her fighting spirit is starting to dwindle. We need all the support we can get before she reverts to her dying state of mind. Please do help us with whatever you can via my pinned post(I don want to add a link to avoiding being banned for sharing links). And if you can’t, please don’t hesitate to spread the word to people who can via a reblog on my pinned post. I Tried a New Drawing App

It's called MediBang Paint, and it's actually free (I'm on a mission to find actually good, free drawing apps). I'd give it 3/5 because 1) it's kinda laggy, and 2) it's a bit hard to navigate. Otherwise, it was pretty good! I'm making a PearlTek drawing and it turned out well! I have a time lapse and a picture. I've only done the outline and am hoping to do the rest soon.

Tango had lit a peppermint candle.

Pearl could tell as she glided into the factory and the smell wafted into her face. The factory always smelt of oil and machinery and redstone, so the change of pace was a pleasant surprise: a nice, inviting scent filled the place instead. She spun in a circle in the air to scout out Tango before setting her sights on him, crouched over amongst his giant machines.

With the elegance that came with practise, Pearl swooped down and perched right behind Tango, unseen by him as all his focus drilled into whatever he was trying to fix. The perfect opportunity. She snuck up behind him and suddenly wrapped her arms around his waist, earning a surprised squeak in return.

"Hey there!" Pearl giggled, pressing a peck to Tango's cheek, "What you up to?"

"Being scared to death, apparently!" Tango retorted, turning his face so that he could look at her. His cheeks and nose were stained with oil smudges and grime, with a clear circular patch where his goggles were protecting his eyes. Pearl loosened her hold so that he could fully turn around and face her properly.

"You look like a mess." She grinned as she leaned closer, capturing Tango in a proper kiss this time. Despite his offence, Tango kissed back gently, careful to not smudge his stained hands or face against her. After a second, Pearl pulled back, "Like a coal miner or something."

Tango rolled his eyes and playfully hit her away, turning back around to get on with his project.

"Thanks, Pearl." He scoffed with a playful tone, "Just gimme one second to finish this repair... Then I'll be right with you!"

Pearl obliged, perching herself precariously on a piece of machinery and watching as Tango continued his work. He was cute when he was so disheveled like this, she decided.

She should interrupt his redstoning more often.
