What is happening in my own country right now is disgusting and appalling and I can’t even say how angry and furious but also sad and near tears I am.
The LGBTQ activist was arrested for 2 months. A transgendered activists that despite being female will be held in male prison.
Police is brutal, is catching everyone that protests and holds against them. The police that works for the government.
The government thst is now giving money from the justice ministry to protect the religious ppl from called by them “LGBTQ lobby” to minimize it and finally erase it.

My disdain for cops is institutional, not individual. Just because you may have a positive personal relationship with someone who is a cop doesn’t change the fact that the law enforcement system in this country is rooted in white supremacy and is used to repress and control the working class while protecting the elite.
All cops have signed up to enforce a system which is oppressing marginalized people in this country on a daily basis. Your personal relationship with an agent of oppression does not change this fact.
