Many winters has passed and time has flown away as yet mys heart still stopped when I saw your letter. You still have the ability to freeze my heart at any given moment. Seeing your name alone makes me question everything around. You’re hiding; perhaps not hiding but waiting. Season passed, Winter ignored spring as you conutined to wait. You waited there for me. How many seasons have it been for you? How much has changed for you? I guess the only real important question to me is: Are you still waiting? Are you still waiting for the snow? The snow in my heart that is stamped with your footprints.

The more i read your letter the colder my heart gets. I don’t have to look out the window to remember you, my love. Winter and the cold that comes with it, I believe is your embrace. I have carried you with me.

“You sent him my letter”, You looked up at your therapist. Your eyes watery as you tried grasp everything you read. You memorized every word as if it was the last time you’d hear from him. Everything around had become circular and in motion. It was like being inside a abstract painting. It made one think so deeply and consider all aspects.

The sound of a page turning caught your attention as you were pulled of the tunnel you had hidden your thoughts in, “Yes”, She responded. Removing her glasses; she folded them and placed them on the glass table next to her.

Mixed emotions filled the air as you decided how should feel about this, you gaev her your letter because it was an assignment she gave you. “Why-”, before you could finish your statement your throat went dry.

“I have been your therapist since you were 17, Y/n”, she started; shifting in her seat. Her grey pantsuit complimented her skin tone well. As she shifted, you could see the fabric wrinkle slightly. “I have watched you tear yourself down for the last 5 years to the point that I couldn’t just listen anymore”.

She was right, “And you need, I simply cannot give you. Only he can. And that is closure”. Ms. Kim was right, I have been slowly draining myself by letting my mind wonder for what seemed like hours. You nodded as she spoke, tears filled your eyes.

That day you walked for hours with your thoughts. The street lights slowly turned as you looked up at the night sky, the stars shined. “Would there even be space in his life for me?”, you whispered, eyes glued to the sky.

On that night, you digged through your old journals and notebooks. You searched to find a letter you had written on your 19th birthday. It was old, the paper crinkled and torn at the edge. It didn’t matter.

You sent it, with a few adjustments. With help from Ms. Kim, it was sent.

The letter was sent by Sunghoon almost two weeks ago and there was no response from y/n. Was he too soon? Sunghoon walked down the sidewalk, the sound of snow crunching beneath his feet was loud.

He wore a black sweater with a matching scarf and black jeans. He hands covered with mittens and were stuffed in his pockets. Screams could be heard in a distance as children played in the snow. “Why hasn’t she replied?”, he muttered under his breath.

Sunghoon had spent his off day running errands before eating lunch with Jungwon. There was no surprise when Jungwon brought up the letters. He should’ve known better than including Jake. But he felt like he needed an outside opinion.

His thoughts continued to consume his mind as he got closer to his apartment building. Sunghoon’s eyes were glued to ground, olbly shifting upwards when a car sped past him. The wind brushing across his face and his hair flying in his face.

He eyes followed the car until it disappeared, only for a figure to catch his attention. As he got closer he could see a more detailed view of the figure. A cream colored jacket and jeans, he squinted trying to make out more.

The figure looked around as if they were looking from something. Sunghoon just kept walking, he got closer by the second. Long black hair, being closer now he could tell it was faux locs. A warm chocolate skin tone. “Just like y/n”, he thought to himself. Sunghoon never notice but he was walking faster.

The figure turned to face his direction as soon he was close enough to see her. The image of her face that night flashed in his mind, her perfect two toned lips and tear eyes now replaced with expressionless eyes.

Her eyes bored into him as the cold wrapped it’s arms around them both. They both stood there, a few steps apart. No words were spoken with the mouth but emotions conveyed with the eyes. Her heart raced as she took him in, he was much taller and had a more mature look to him.

The return address ont he envelope came in helpful when you made the last night decision to come here. Without telling him.

You were scared but his words became stamped onto your heart. The world around you both kept moving but your hearts slowed and beat in sync for that moment.

“Love”, he whispered; just enough for her to hear. “Y/n”. His voice cracked as he took her beauty which he had long to see for the last years.

“It’s winter”, her eyes brimmed with tears, “And We’re here, Together”.

There is a light sprinkling of rain as you scurry across the parking lot to Eunseok's car. You're grateful he can pick you up from work, since he has practiced in a few hours.

The warm air of the car hits your skin. It felt nice being out of the icy rain. Eunseok takes a towel from his Nike duffle back in the backseat and hands it to you. He realizes how you look at it and then laughs, telling you: “Don't worry, it's clean.”

You wipe the rainwater from your arms and face. In the few seconds of being in the car, you couldn't help but feel this heavy energy coming from Eunseok. You've been around him long to know that something is off.

The touch of your cool hand on the back of his neck makes him crumble a little. You play with some of his hair. The rain gets heavier and it's the only sound between the two of you.

“Something is the matter.” You softly whispered. Your thumb strokes the side of his neck.

Eunseok crumbles a little more at your words.

“It's work.”

“I'm listening.”

He lets out a broken laugh while staring straight ahead out the windshield as the rain hits it. Eunseok wants to pour all his worries into you.

How his body aches from all the dance practices. How he's afraid he wouldn't do as well for RIIZE's upcoming performance.

And when Eunseok doesn't say anything for a while, you speak again. “Hey, whatever is bothering you, just place it in my hands.” You smiled a little with your hands held out.

This makes Eunseok smile. So he places his worries into your hands. You rolled down the window and chunked his worries out and quickly let the window up so you wouldn't get wet by the rain.

“How do you feel?”

“Lighter.”

You pinch his cheek making him laugh. “Like I told you a thousand times, Eunseok, if you ever need to talk, I'm always here any time of day. No matter how late always come to me with your worries.”

You were never selfish with yourself. Always giving others tiny pieces of you. And Eunseok sometimes wishes you were a little selfish with yourself. He has more of you than anybody else would ever have. Then again, maybe he is a little selfish himself — always accepting the pieces of you and never refusing.

Eunseok gets you home safely, but before you even get out of the car, he reaches over the console and grabs your wrist, stopping you from fully getting out of his car.

“More worries?” you asked.

“I... I was wondering if I could come over after pract–”

“The door will be unlocked. I'll have your favorite food and drink ready when you get here.”

Everyone has things that bring them some kind of comfort. And you were Eunseok's comfort person. To him, you are like a tiny, cozy, warm home in the winter that smells of sugar cookies and pumpkin spice.

He gives your wrist a little squeeze before letting go. He doesn't drive away yet until you're inside your place and you flip the lights on.

Eunseok lays his head on your shoulder. He then takes your hand and intertwines his fingers with yours. His eyes sting a little and his nose starts to run.

“More worries?”

Eunseok nods. You placed your free hand out. “Let's get rid of them, okay?”

“Okay.”

And with each worry, Eunseok tells you what's on his mind as he places his worries into your hand. Once your hand is full, you blow all his worries away like a dandelion.

He cries into your shoulder. It's a gut-wrenching cry, but a much-needed one. You stroke the top of his head. You knew being an Idol was a heavy load, but you didn't think of the overwhelming amount of stress it came with.

Eunseok couldn't live his life without people online criticizing him over the smallest of things. He either wasn't doing something right or said something that got taken out of context.

People are cruel.

But at least you made Eunseok feel a lot safer.

When Eunseok is all cried out. You wipe his tears away and clean up his face. Then it's the warmest hug from you that he's engulfed in that he could finally breathe easily.

You gently sway him in your arms and kiss his forehead. “How do you feel now?”

“I feel empty now. But in a good way tho. Like after letting everything out, there is nothing else left there that makes me feel like I'm drowning under the weight of my worries with my lungs burning for air.” he said. “And I want to thank you in so many ways, Y/n.”

“Oh, Eunseok, you don't have to thank me–”

Your eyes widen when he suddenly captures your lips in a tender kiss. Closing your eyes you melt into your sofa. Your body is lightly buzzing all over. You feel Eunseok smile against your lips.

San: He would buy your bonnets for you. Usually, they would be in his favorite colors, he even got you a customized bonnet with his picture on it a little cheesy, some would think but you loved the hell out that one bonnet. He's the type of boyfriend to remind you to put on your bonnet before sleeping. When you're all whiny and too tired to put it on yourself San puts your bonnet on you with a small pout saying, “Hmm, I think I spoil you too much. You can put your bonnet on yourself, baby.” but he would always do it because he loves taking care of you.

Yunho: He'd be a little surprised seeing you wear your bonnet for the first time around him. “Hey, you never wear your bonnet around me before.” he'd say as he fixes your bonnet on your head. “I...I was just never comfortable enough til now.” You'd say. Hearing this hurts him a little, he gently cups your adorable face tilting your head so you're looking up at him. “Thank you.” He'd say. “Why are you thanking me?” You'd blink, confused at your man. He would smile giving your pouty lips a quick kiss, saying, “For sharing this part of yourself with me. Yeosang: He wears a matching bonnet with you. The pink bonnet with the blackband. Yeosang would always buy a variety of bonnets for you and him. Always matching ones, though. He had a bonnet with your picture on it that was his favorite one to wear. “God, did you really have to put my face on a bonnet, Yeosang?” You'd ask the first time you saw your face on the silky light blue bonnet he's wearing. He'd playfully grin at you before quickly giving you a kiss on the nose, “Of course I did. You're my beautiful girl.” he'd say. Your face gets all warm and you softly slap your hand against his chest and smile.

Hongjoong: “If you don't like it. I can take it off.” You'd say to Hongjoong the first time he sees you in your bonnet. His brows knit together and he pulls you down to sit on his lap. “No. I love it. I would never ask you to take off your bonnet. I'm happy you're comfortable with me now to let me see you wear one.” He'd give your thigh a light little squeeze. “You don't find me unattractive or anything, do you?” you'd ask. Hongjoong would smile at you, holding your gaze. “Why would I? Protecting your hair is important to me. I still find you attractive with your bonnet. It's sexy.”

Seonghwa: just like Mingi, Seonghwa is the type of boyfriend who puts your bonnet back on in the middle of the night, his voice low, and soft with sleep as he speaks to you while you're half asleep. “Y/n, baby lift your head some for me.” he'd say as tucks your hair back into your bonnet. You'd pout in your sleep not wanting to listen to your boyfriend. Seonghwa would carefully lift your head himself to get your bonnet fully on your head. “You sleep too wild that's why your bonnet always comes off.” he'd kiss your forehead. You mumble something in your sleepy voice into his chest, “The bonnet has a mind of its own.”
