Why Sniper and Spy Despise One Another

Why Sniper And Spy Despise One Another

The relationship between Sniper and Spy is a well-crafted one. Both are assassins who fulfil the same role and pride themselves on professionalism. It's their definition of "professional" where they diverge.

To Sniper, professionalism is defined by detachment and efficiency. Taking a life is serious business, and so the job is prioritized above everything, including basic hygiene and bathroom breaks. "Snipers don't muck about... we just take the shot."

To Spy, professionalism is defined by dignity and artistry. Taking a life is serious business, and so it must be handled with grace, even when fighting lunatics in the middle of a desert. "Six unstabbed backs... I do love a blank canvas!"

Sniper considers Spy unprofessional and cowardly due to his pompous demeanour and underhanded tactics. To find artistry in murder is psychopathic, to engage in trickery, dishonourable. Spy is an arrogant snake that gives proper assassins like Sniper a bad name. "Ya bloody backstabbing fraud!"

Spy considers Sniper unprofessional and cowardly due to his oafish demeanour and impersonal tactics. To murder without feeling is psychopathic, to attack only from a distance, dishonourable. Sniper is a tactless brute that gives proper assassins like Spy a bad name. "You disgust me, filthy jar man!"

Шоу* But you got their names right!! Which is very impressive, because they aren't the easiest ones in any language :,D Их дуэль была ну проооосто отпадная, а их песня - одна из моих любимых песен из всего сериала, сразу после Out for Love Ну, на данный момент! Что будет потом, нам ещё предстоит увидеть и услышать ;> В любом случае, как ты вообще пришёл/пришла/пришли (what are your pronouns, oh mighty stranger?) к изучению русского?

Точно! Обожаю это шоу и часто слушаю их песни! Damn it may seem odd but it felt so good to see Adam's ass kicked by Niffty😭😂 I hope she'll have the same treatment to Valentino for hurting our poor boy Angledust :(

Сначала я начал изучаты французский, но это было скучно. Мне нравится русский язык, потому что он сложен и помогает мне обшаться с людьми в интернет. Since I noticed we have more russian people on internet than other nations due to population.. It just feels kinda cool to communicate with people like you dk 🤷‍♀✨

Damn I almost started sweating to write them all correct eventually 😭 (which I think still includes some obvious flaws)

Русский жесткий и крутои 🗿

Btw tnx for dealing with my misery <3

Hello my dear Tumblr users!

It's been a while I've decided to learn Russian but I have to admit it wasn't as simple as I thought...

If any of you guys can just hang out for fun and have a typical conversation together to improve my russian, I truly appreciate it <3

Edited version of a vintage ad. A white woman with dark brown wavy hair in a short style looks to the viewer with a surprised face. Her hand is raised and poised over an enlarged AO3 Mute button. Behind her is a yellow background. Below the woman, on an off-white background in black text are the words: AO3 author driving you crazy? Feeling annoyed? Frustrated? Pissed off? Wish you never had to see their work on the Archive ever again? Surveys* say that users who apply Mute enjoy their time on AO3 97% more than users who don't!" Below the text, in much smaller font, is a caveat: *No actual survey was performed on this topic. This is an estimation, at best, based on anecdotal data and common sense.

If you're logged into your AO3 account, you can mute any other account on the Archive. Muting means that you will no longer see:

works they've created (or co-created) in search results and tag listings (you can still access the works themselves, if you have a direct link)

bookmarks they've created

other users' bookmarks of their works or series

comments they've left

You can mute a user by clicking/tapping on their username (anywhere on the site) to get to their profile page. On that page, you can select the Mute button and then confirm that you really mean to do it.

To unmute them later, you can go to your Preferences page and select the button for Muted Users. Find their name in the list, and select the Unmute button. Then you'll see them on the Archive again.
