I hate this venue (same as Thursday and Friday) but I love the company who runs this event.

Monster is giving all of our staff free drinks and I'm very happy

Manager R took me off the shift for today, so I can stay up as late as I need to.

What a shitty mindset that I fall into way too often.

Yesterday, I got some frosties at Wendy's with my mom and my total (including tax) was $7.77. I have the receipt for proof if y'all don't believe me.

Because it ended up as lucky number 777, I thought I'd have at least a bit of luck.

Boy was I wrong.

I spent way too long trying to get past Level 8 of Dungeon Keeper, and I still can't get past it. And then, my cord (it's had a short for a while, but I've made it work) decided to break and try to set my pillow on fire. (It's unplugged and sitting on my floor because the floor is tile)

My eyes are starting to hurt, so I really need to go to sleep and not read or watch YT or Daredevil or Percy Jackson or work on any WIPs.

Y'all know that story I just started? The one that has yet to be named?

Well, I've got Take Back Your Mink from Guys and Dolls stuck in my head, and I was thinking we could do a play on that?

The direction that this one is taking in my head (because I have yet to write it out) is really different from anything I've ever written before, but I think we could play off the song title and call the story Take Back Your Minx.

A mink is a really cute, ferret like animal. A minx is a very boldly flirtatious woman.

Food for thought.
