As You May Be Able To Tell From Everything I've Been Reblogging, Recently I've Been Feeling A Really
As you may be able to tell from everything I've been reblogging, recently I've been feeling a really strong connection to the sun and I decided I want to start incorporating the suns properties into my daily practice to see if it helps me out. I've been kind of stressed and weighed down recently so I hope that the healing power of the sun will help to improve my overall mood.
The first step I will be taking is waking up an hour earlier so I have more time in the morning. Until now I had been waking up at 7 am, but I'm going to try to start waking up at 6.
Some of the things I want to try to incorporate into my new morning routine are:
☀️ Waking up earlier
☀️ Leaving my blinds open in one window so I can wake up naturally with the sunlight
☀️ Drinking tea corresponding to the sun
☀️ Sitting in the back yard and getting some nice morning air while I drink my tea
☀️ Doing some sun meditation
☀️ Carrying around crystals corresponding with the sun
☀️ Making sun water for my rituals (If I feel I can keep it hidden from my family)
☀️ Generally researching and appreciating the sun more
These are just some of the things I'm going to try to start doing. I hope that by incorporating these things into my life I can achieve more calm and more balance.
Blessed be, Christina 🌕

More Posts from Thestarlightpractice
You can do spells when you are upset, but think about the situation and what you want to happen first.
i keep seeing posts floating around the witchcraft tags saying “you don’t have to know everything in order to be a witch”, “you can just do what feels right to you”, “don’t be afraid to mess up”, etc.
i just wanted to add to that by saying if you have trouble remembering tiny details, correspondences, sigils, whatever else, when it comes to actually doing spell work, you can look things up.
hell i look things up in the middle of doing spells all the time. i’ll be halfway through a candle burning ritual then stop to look up color correspondences to make sure i chose the right candle color. i’ll be throwing random shit into jars then checking what the herbs are used for right before i seal the jar. it’s nothing to be ashamed of.
keeping notes helps but it’s not guaranteed that you’ll remember everything you write down. googling something in the middle of a working isn’t going to ruin the entire thing.
Clairaudience Development Tip
One of the best tips i learned when developing my clairaudience was listening to music. When listening to music, just pick out the guitar, the drums, the vocals, the fuckin triangle in the back, just pick a sound an isolate it, listening only to that for a while. Then switch to a different sound to isolate.
Sound isolation is a MASSIVE help when developing your clairaudience so you can learn to isolate the sound of your deities/entities speaking to you so you can better hear them.
It works so well, give it a try and see what you think.
Beginner witch tip: You don't need to rush into deity work, much less commit yourself to a deity right away - if ever! The notion that you should is very much a product of cultural Christianity. It's okay to take your time when it comes to deities.
