— iyad bday coming in TWO DAYS 🤗

— uhh sapphire reminded me i watched glitter force (precure?) so now im gonna go draw my ocs as magical girls

— i’m gonna write a tiny little interaction story things that are like vignettes but jt’s just iyad (idk if i’ll add anyone)

— speaking of which i need to find those templates 🙁

i’m gonna yap abt Iyad and Silver one sec

uh ok so

due to iyad’s traumatic past, losing three parental figures in the span of 14years, and still being very not familial loving to their current parents. that does something yk?

iyad is at the very least, scared of caring, scared of loving someone because there’s no guarantee that they will stay.

iyad can tell if someone is pretty yes, seeing silver off to the side, it was basic concern that pushed them to take silver to the infirmary to see if he was ok.

silver liked the soft breeze in his hair when iyad flew him, like a really good air conditioner, he even managed to have a feel of iyad’s wings. silver was a bit fascinated by iyad.

ever since that day, iyad just noticed silver around more, slowly becoming accustomed to the white haired male’s presence, the two working like gears grinding against each other that fit perfectly.

suddenly, iyad is expecting silver. now when the heterochhromatic looks at the stands during spelldrive, he looks for a mop of white hair. suddenly iyad frowns when silver sits somewhere else. suddenly iyad looks for silver rather than just finding him. what’s goin on?

one day when silver is at the spelldrive stadium for some reason, iyad sees, the two exchange a smile. and it all comes crashing down, iyad breaks down.

his heart beating in their ears, fear overtakes them and physically stops them from playing for the rest of practice.

iyad is in DENIAL. shaking their head at the thought that maybe, maybe they now care for silver, that they love him. more than they should.

iyad ignores his feelings and silver, avoiding both like the plague, over exerting themself in their hobbies before eventually working so hard their body can’t take it, leading for iyad to be brought to the nurse after passing out.

silver shows up and expresses his concern, iyad just pushes him away, telling him that they’re not his problem.

but deep down, iyad’s heart swells at the concern in his eyes, they hated to see silver leave the room, but this was for the best.

‘envy of icarus’ <- iyad’s UM

icarus was a man who had gotten metal wings, and despite the warnings, he flew too close to the sun and his wings had melted.

icarus died on the ground because of his own ignorance. sometimes

iyad is envious of icarus

for being so carefree that even if the moments were brief. icarus felt outrageous, free, and adventurous.

but was it worth it if he died right after?
