i love liveblogging my descent into madness on a friday afternoon. so how is everyone else doing

growing up as a cis girl the patriarchy told me “you’re a girl because of the way you were born, there is nothing you can do about this, you have no say in your gender” and i hated being a girl because it wasn’t my choice it was a prison and the trans community told me “you’re a girl because you say so, your view of yourself is the most important thing, if you change your mind that would be ok” and it made me proud to be a girl and feel empowered in my gender and i wasn’t trapped anymore and then terfs come along and tell me “you’re a girl because of the way you were born, there is nothing you can do about this, you have no say in your gender (but like in a woke way)” and they somehow expect me to be on their side?

i hate you american centered fandom i hate you 'you can only reblog this today' posts that get reblogged a day too late in my timezones i hate you 'happy pride month' only being in june to the point where i forget that pride month where i am is in febuary i hate you only listing what times things release for eastern standard time and never thinking about those of us who live anywhere else i hate you posts with helplines that only include american ones and ignore helplines from any other countries

; I think the best way to describe it is Queer pride is a celebration of the lives we have, a mourning of the lives we've lost, and a protest for the lives to come to not need to be mourned. ( ESPECIALLY to the BIPOC, the trans people, etc. They're so important to our history and future and don't deserve to be forgotten, to be quieted or put down !! Seriously y'all come on !! )
