Every “spoiler” for The Rookie makes me less and less excited. I just know this season is gonna be a hot mess and they’re gonna fck up Chenford. I mean they’ve already dropped the ball with Chenford in so many other ways but — I just have a feeling this time is “fck up Chenford💯” 😅😂

I think my time with The Rookie is done.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who doesn’t want Chenford to break up. Even if it is temporary. It would honestly just be bad writing at this point. Although these writers are prone to bad writing.

Tim & Lucy are grown adults. Not early 20’s kids. Break up & get back together spells unhealthy relationship when you’re adults. I’ve seen some people say they’d lose interest in the show if that happened & I honestly agree. Tim changed jobs for them, Lucy considered changing stations for them, & both of them constantly mentioning “their kids”. Then have them break up??? That’s just sloppy.

I guess their biggest obstacle is Lucy undercover. I have an unpopular opinion on this... Lucy is delusional. Absolutely delusional. THREE different people have told her undercover work destroys your personal life. THREE. Noah, Nyla, & Isabel. & Lucy is living in her head genuinely believing she’s the exception. She’s not. — Lucy said Tim was the most important relationship of her life. Why is she so willing to bet that for undercover?

Tim gave up his job for her, it’s only fair she give up hers for him. Something better came along for Tim, the same would happen for Lucy. (her & Aaron would be a kickass Detective duo just like Lopez & Nyla)

so Tim has a picture of his ex wife on his desk at work. Nothing of Lucy. He invites said ex wife TO LUCYS HOME and proceeds to mock Lucy WITH his ex wife INFRONT of Lucy. He still yells at her at work. Lets Lucy take the fall to be mocked by the whole station for something HE did and now leaves Lucy in the dark when he DISAPPEARS.

and we still ship her with him … .. WHY?

Can we also talk about the fact that Tim got divorced …. Something that happens to like half the population and we’ve heard about Tim’s trauma from it more times than I can count …. but Lucy was BU*RIED ALIVE and we haven’t heard/seen the trauma from Lucy since it happened….

K ... Lucy is my girl... really. But like why tf have the writers made her so annoying this episode? She talks like a child & the freaking studying overboard where she’s not listening to Tim tell her to stop.. she’s gonna fail the exam.

Y’all are too easy. 🤣 this show sucks ass now there’s no way y’all ain’t seeing it
