It’s tied up there with Drakengard in i can’t deal with the gameplay personally but god the story keeps me going

TBH, same here with the gameplay? It’s grindy depending on who you selected as an servant. On the other hand, the story is really good, since it’s alot more serious + lore giving.

alright, serious talk, fate/extra last encore was alright at most, but the story is weak, and the MC (it’s not hakuno so don’t @ me) is... well. Not the best mc(tm), since it welcomes this WHOLE thing called a ‘deadface’ (collective spirits who are filled with masters’ death and edgyness).

The anime does REALLY well with it’s side characters ( take Gawain and Leo for example, they were expended in the anime), and I loved the animation style (even if at times it’s wonky).

I wish that fate/extra has an anime adaption tho.
