In light of recent events, I would like to remind everyone that the correct pro choice talking point that will actually pull people to our side is NOT whether a fetus is human or not because you'll never win. The correct argument is how the state should never have the power to force you to give up physical autonomy for the sake of any other being.

Step one, obviously, is to recruit Dustin & Lucas to sneak a card into her locker (this does nothing to dispel the looks Dustin gives him every time Robin’s near but, whatever, it’s worth it) claiming to be from her Secret Admirer

(She knows his handwriting, but it’s still a sweet gesture)

When he picks her up from school, as he always does, he’s wearing a freshly pressed polo, fluffed his hair to the extreme, broken out the Scoops Era lipgloss, and bought a dozen purple roses

(They’re lavender roses, specifically, which he has to drive a town over to buy because Hawkins only florist is incapable of selling anything that isnt pink or red this week)

Robin pretends to be embarrassed, but secretly thinks the looks of jealousy and awe directed at her are hilarious. Everyone wondering what Robin Band Geek Buckley did to become The King’s Queen? And the answer is so much weirder than anyone would believe

He takes her to the movies, they’re seeing Pretty in Pink cause he knows she has a thing for Molly Ringwald (and a certain classmate who seems to style herself based on the actress) and he spends almost a whole day’s paycheck on popcorn, cokes, her favourite candy - the works.

When he finally drops her home that evening, he pulls in to her parents’ driveway and stops her as she opens the door, gives her the bitchiest bestie look he can muster and says

“I hope you enjoyed that cause I’m never doing it again. If you don’t ask Vickie out by next year I’m doing it for you.”
