I Think His Real Name Wouldn't Be So Obvious, Like Levin Or Luke, But Over Time His Friends/co-workers
I think his real name wouldn't be so obvious, like Levin or Luke, but over time his friends/co-workers start calling him 'Levi' as a joke, and it sticks. So the further he gets into his transformation, the more he starts to only respond to the names 'Levi' and 'Leviathan'. File name would probably just be Levi.
Also the whole 'statue dissolving' thing is really neat! What if the other scientists notice something that looks like writing on the bottom of it, and they have to race to try and translate it before it fully breaks down into dust? Like it's some weird mix of hieroglyphics and latin or something, so complete translations are incredibly difficult even without a time limit.
And so far they're only been able to make out the word 'Leviathan'?
I could see them trying to find what was causing the deterioration of the artifact. Unsure why it’s suddenly decomposing and they theorize it’s air but maybe it’s “curse” was passed on so there’s no use for it to exist anymore.
I had the idea maybe Levi’s father perhaps works at the same facility and that’s how he gets the internship there in the first place. So his family getting involved with the whole incident makes it more interesting. The whole ever since Levi confronted the statue he’s been closed off from his family acting odd and hostile. He could get in trouble for running up the water bill and raiding the fridge. And Maybe he locks himself in his room until he decides he has to go to the lab and actually get real help.
I’ve been trying to decide his growth rate. Like if he grew 1.5ft a month he’d grow 18ft per year atleast for the first 5-7 years and let’s say he originally starts at 6 ft so at the end of one year he’d be 24ft. After 5 years he’d only be 96 ft about.

You don't take requests, do you?
I would but,if I’m quite honest I’m normally pretty busy so I can’t garentee I’d get it done. But hopefully in the future I will lol.

I had to design a tattoo pattern this week so this is what I did

I do like that idea about the intern on a research team, it could add more spice to the story because then when he does begin to morph into a mer he’d be surrounded by people he knows the entire time. So that would make it more interesting, good ideas 👌✨
So like guy who enjoys exploring the ocean comes across this cursed merpeople object and it causes them to permanently change into merman not only that but begins to grow into a leviathan?
Like should I make him part of a scientist team that purposely looks for underwater artifacts. Would he suddenly turn into one or would he slowly become more fish like until he has to be rushed into the ocean. Or would they be searching for their missing diver(scientist)only to find a giant merman.
Should I make it a teenager who went on vacation and found the artifact and decided to keep it but then when they start becoming a merman they desperately need water and gets taken by the government to be studied. But then it gets harder to contain the contuiously growing Mer. Atleast until he has to be transferred into a bigger underwater facility.
Y’all should help me out
I like talking with y’all bout Leviathan, helps me get all my brain thoughts on the page. So legit anyone can feel free to send me ideas or ask me fun questions >:)). I like it
Perhaps the unfortunate intern finds this strange little statue in an analysis lab. It's made of this strange, glossy black and blue stone, about the size of an apple, and it's been carved into the shape of a scowling sea serpent, with glowing blue eyes, wickedly jagged fins, and massive sickle-shaped fangs.
The intern picks it up out of curiosity, only to find the stone fangs a little sharper than he expected, and ends up accidentally cutting himself on the edge. It hurts like the devil, like he'd been bitten by a real snake with firey acid in its jaws, but only for a second. The pain fades faster than it started. So he shrugs it off.
The next morning, the intern discovers his jeans fit just a smidge tighter than before.
I like this a lot my fren ✨this is some cash money business right here. I’ve been trying to figure out the artifacts. I’ve been trying to figure out does he transform and then begin to grow more over time. Or does he begin to transform slowly and also begin to put on height.
I’m also trying to decide if he tells any coworkers or senior figures. Or does he just deal with all the changes fearfully and try to figure out what’s happening to himself on his own?
