It/its/ze/hir/they/them/cor/corpse/haunt/haunts/hallow/hallows/rot/rots/hell/hells (any pronouns are fine, however. ask which nounself sets are okay, I tend to lean away from sets like bun/buns). Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. TW: Caps, Truscum, Ace Exclusion, Discourse (??)

TW: Caps, truscum, ace exclusion, discourse (??)

It is absolutely appalling to me that the cesspool that is the truscum subreddit is still alive and well. Don't get me wrong, some of the people seem like fine individuals... at least from my (very) limited knowledge. But others? Holy shit, bro. It didn't take very long to find some sort of exclusionary post; this one in particular claimed that 'saying ace people are part of the LGBT community is like saying atheists are a religious group' and... wow. That is an INCREDIBLY idiotic take, and I'm not going to explain why due to the assumption that everyone reading this has a functioning brain.

It's like they think being any type of queer is all about oppression and pain, and anyone they deem to not experience an adequate amount of it isn't queer. We've seen this with the tucute shit, so tell me why I'm even remotely surprised that at least a few people who consider themselves truscum are aspec exclusionary as well. It makes my head hurt.

Exclusion does nothing the further LGBTQ rights and acceptance, all it does is victimize more people! Making yourself 'one of the good ones' does absolutely nothing! Making other queer people feel like shit does NOTHING to solve the real issue, which is the fact that there are STILL queerphobic people in the world! The fact that there are people OLDER THAN ME who can't grasp that fact is so upsetting to me.

No offence but some younger queer people heard "nonbinary is not a third gender" and interpreted that as "no nonbinary person identifies as a third gender".

And some people heard "nonbinary people are outside of the gender binary" and interpreted that as "no nonbinary person identifies as a binary gender. no nonbinary identifies as both 100% a man AND 100% a woman because that's not outside of the binary". (????)

And some younger nonbinary people seem to have internalised "well I'm nonbinary and I don't feel that way so you're wrong", even though the entire point of being nonbinary is that there's literally infinite ways to experience gender.

What I'm trying to say is, there's an identity entirely built around not fitting into narrow boxes, and yet a hefty chunk of our own community seems hellbent on forcing us into boxes anyway.

"a lesbian is a woman attracted to woman!" "no it's a woman exclusively attracted to women!" "no it's a woman-aligned person attracted to woman-aligned people!" "no it's a non-man attracted to non-man!!!" literally none of this matters. a lesbian is whatever a lesbian wants to be.

oh hey lmao since we're at the starting stages of a trans genocide in the US, I wanna remind everyone that they will try to erase this. They will try to rewrite history so that this never happened, or everyone was on our side in the beginning, or whatever makes them look better. They're already trying to re-write history and erase us from the start, with bills that make it illegal to teach queerness in classrooms. We cannot let this happen. We cannot let them erase our history.

We're lucky we live in the age of the Internet where nothing is truly erased. We gotta use this to our advantage.

Be loud. Be angry. Do not let them erase us.

Hyperempathetic | Hypoempathetic

Hyperempathetic | Hypoempathetic

hyperempathetic | hypoempathetic

flags for those who experience high empathy and low empathy! the top and bottom stripes are blended from my neurodivergent flag (the top one is indigo and green together, the bottom is gold and red together), as there are a vast number of neurodivergencies that can cause high/low empathy and i wanted a simple way to be inclusive of all of them. in the hyperempathy flag, i used pale blue and reddish-pink, since both are colors commonly associated with empathy, and the hypoempathy flag uses inverted versions of those colors!

(no ableism on this post. having low empathy does not mean someone doesn’t care about others. learn what these terms mean before demonizing common neurodivergent experiences.)
