Inktober Day 7 - Ink And Water

Inktober day 7 - ink and water
I wasn't feeling well, so I just messed around with cartridge pens and ended up with this. My grasp of anatomy is a bit shaky these days, I think I need to find a life-drawing class.

Inktober day 5 - G-pen, ink and water, brush inking, mapping pen, brush pen
I had a busy evening so I just scribbled up some Poppets and inked them in different ways.

Inktober day 3 - G-pen
I did a couple of simple head-shots to break in my new G-pen while watching a documentary. I had a cartridge G-pen once before, but they dry out if you don't use them every few days and I accidentally destroyed it. I hope to keep this one alive much longer.
Ely and Trispin are changelings and not to be trusted.

Inktober day 2 - brush inking and ink wash
Already time for ill-advised adventures in ink wash. Some day I'll be good enough at it that I'll use it outside of Inktober.

I've been working on the designs for various aliens I made up as a teenager.
These are the mysterious and secretive Shiren. They're about the size of a human 12-year-old and always wear those long robes and hoods. All the other space-faring species know about their lifestyle is that they're primarily aquatic, but able to change shape in order to move on land.
You can see I decided somewhere in between the two pictures that they should only have four digits.
