Inktober day 3 - G-pen
I did a couple of simple head-shots to break in my new G-pen while watching a documentary. I had a cartridge G-pen once before, but they dry out if you don't use them every few days and I accidentally destroyed it. I hope to keep this one alive much longer.
Ely and Trispin are changelings and not to be trusted.

Inktober day 5 - G-pen, ink and water, brush inking, mapping pen, brush pen
I had a busy evening so I just scribbled up some Poppets and inked them in different ways.

Does anyone remember Outlaw Star? I re-watched it lately and surprisingly still kind of liked it! So I doodled up some of the characters. I started out with my favourites (Jim and Aisha) then added Suzuka because I didn't like having that huge white gap at the top of the page.
Then during a different episode I drew Melfina and Harry because I wanted to see if I could translate their mad 90s anime hair.

Inktober day 1 - ink and water
Continuing my tradition of goofing up the first picture; a lesson in how ink and water can sometimes go horribly wrong.
Specifically, how I forgot that all but one of my cartridge pens misbehave after long periods of disuse and I used the wrong one. Louise was doomed from the start.
