Like I really hope I'm making sense, but a story where Crosshair is a reluctant companion to a sunnier, more sweet and well rounded person. He's an asshole to them ofc, but they still stick around and seem to like him (not that they don't stick up for themselves) then slowly they worm their way into his heart and eventually they're the only one he's not a complete asshole to because he feels comfortable letting down his guard around them? AGH.

Give me a soft, protective Crosshair who still pokes fun at his cyare but knows not to go too far because they're sensitive 🙌

Imagine a modern AU in which you're married to Zhongli. He's a rich businessman and you married out of love as years passed by your love just went off into the air. You don't give two shits about him, he makes you miserable, he's never home, and you hate how other women just so openly drool at him, like you're not there. You're tired of feeling jealous and worthless, you're taking your life back and the first step is to divorce him.

You don't even know how open he is with his affections with you at work, how he smiles whenever he talks about you, how his heart (and pants really) tighten whenever he thinks about you, you're his world. Some gush, some admire, others hate it, it's quite the spectacle.

Imagine his shock when you throw the divorce papers at him, demanding that he signs them.

Things are about to get ugly.
