Hetalians, welcome to the EngBelg Secret Santa of 2019! This year we’re trying something new, and though we did not have time to host another EngBelg week, we are hosting a secret Santa gift exchange!

What is a Secret Santa? Basically, a Secret Santa is an anonymous gift exchanging. Everyone participating is assigned to another person and makes a gift for the person they were assigned to, with the given prompts; no one knows from whom they’ll be getting their gift from, but everyone knows whom they’re making a gift for. And then on the assigned dates, everyone posts their gifts!

Gifts can be, but are not limited to: Fanarts Fanfics Edits (only with official art!)

For safety purposes, we will not be allowing NSFW gifts. Please keep everything to a T rating at the most.

Please fill out the Google Forms application. We’ll contact you confirming your signup and add your name to the list of participants within 24 hours of your application.

Steps

Fill out the form which includes your wishes, your contact details, and the medium you’ll use. Sign-ups are up until November 30th

Your Secret Santa and their prompts will be announced on December 3rd, which is a good date to get cracking. Make sure to keep your Secret Santa anonymous!

Post your gifts from December 25th to December 31st, though any late posters are welcome to post (they will have to notify the receiver anonymously as well as the mods, however)

Hetaween 2019 Day 10 Tragic

Johan felt numb and ignored his friends’ kind gestures, like a hand on his shoulder or their gentle words. Nothing truly reached him anymore and staring over their shoulders, he saw Henri.

How did they believe he could look after him? He could only hope to find Emma one day. It was his fault he let her walk out alone, dressed as little red riding hood to meet her big bad wolf.

Hetaween Day 14 Masks

Johan and Magnus stared at each other through the eye holes in the masks they had printed half an hour ago. Their plan had been to have some beers and watch a couple of scary movies. They ended up having more than a few beers and then decided to go trick-or-treating.

That’s how they ended up wearing some of each other’s clothes, Magnus with Johan’s scarf around his neck, Johan with Magnus’ hat on top of his somewhat flattened hair and wearing a simple paper mask of the other’s face.

The next day, sober again, they could only hope that America hadn’t noticed them and hadn’t posted their little candy adventure online.

Hetaween 2019 Day 2 Mystic creatures

Maddie stared at the creature with an open mouth. It strange movements too close to that of a human to be mistaken for any kind of animal, she might have to apologise to her brother for not believing him about bigfoot before.

Still, it was entirely possible that Alfred was using state of the art technology from his government to prank her. If she ever found out that was what is happening now right before her eyes, she would superglue a monkey mask to his face while he was asleep.

Hetaween 2019 Day 7 Bloody Halloween

“You’re such an idiot, why did you try to carve such a complicated design into the pumpkin anyway?” The man asked, his French accent heavy while he bandaged his friend’s bloody hand.

The other blond looked away from the wound on his hand, softly mumbled. “America is coming over to celebrate Halloween at my house this year, and he always makes such a big deal of this holiday.”

The Frenchman sighed as he finished bandaging the shallow wound and said, “I did not know you still cared this much.
