October LU Write-a-Thon Round Up: 325,329 Words in One Day!

Welcome back to another Write-a-thon roundup! This October 1, @not-freyja and I (@hotcheetohatredwastaken) got together with 70 other writers to once again write as many productive words as possible within 24 hours! And we’re here, once again, to celebrate all of you that participated below! Thank you for coming!

At 27,002 words, “Budding Shit-Talker” goes to @bluury2, good luck beating glowingmin next time! You did amazing still.

At 20,441 words, “Ravio Cult Partner in Crime” goes to @twink-between-worlds, I wonder who might have helped start that club this time…

Ravio club going strong for multiple months in a row! They love that purple bunny man

The Soap Club got festive this month for Halloween!

This is part of a story I'm making, but it will never become a fic because I don't write. The story is about when Legend first found out that Hyrule was his successor and he didn't like it.

Me and the mutual I pulled by being actually I have no idea why they followed me but I'm glad they did

Just thinking about how some of the Links probably would've grown taller if it wasn't for the fact they were heroes.

Genetics do play a factor and none of the Links are tall, but the tallest Links are the ones who had normal childhoods. Time is sort of the exception since Jojo mentioned in this post he made sure to grow up stronger/healthier the second time around.

As for the others, they've had the pressure of being a hero since they were little kids. They had to face life threatening situations on the daily, constantly got injured, got limited sleep because they had to stay alert, and possibly had a less than stable supply of food since they were always on the road. Definitely not good conditions to grow under.

Wild isn't as short as the others because, since he was training as a knight, he always had access to food and good sleep. But the sheer stress of being the chosen one at such a young age definitely could've stunted his growth.

If they had all had the opportunity to grow up like regular kids, there's a chance they'd all be around Sky's height or taller.

current fan creation landscape is kinda like if you went to a party with a homemade cake and everyone takes a slice and silently thumbs up at you with no attempt to start a conversation except for occasionally some guy sits in the corner with a tape recorder critiquing the cake as though he was a restaurant critic and another guy is handing the cake to an uber driver like "yeah i need you to find a restaurant that makes cake like this so i can have more of it" and the only person that's talked to you in 30 minutes is a very sweet little guy who was like "hey i liked your cake" and then ran away apologizing for bothering you the moment you said thank you.

Is our girl in Echoes of Wisdom the same as our Princess of Legend? It certainly seems that way, as there are many signs pointing towards it.

However

just like with Tears of the Kingdom, we'll have to wait and see what the game reveals. Either way, I’m incredibly hyped for this game!

As for this design, I can’t say it's final for certain. But this blue maiden dress of hers is one that’s stuck with me for years.
