Question will there be a second chapter for A Legend in the Making?
Yes!
About half of it is done but I haven't been able to work on it due to some Life Stuff ™ and also just general writing struggles. The second chapter has honestly been a lot harder to write than what I was expecting. Also events like Whumptober have kind of shifted my priorities right now.
If all goes well, the second chapter should be posted sometime November and the third/last chapter should be posted late December.

The Triforce thrums distantly, a warm, familiar, dangerous weight resting heavy on his soul and light on his hand. He doesn’t know why Hyrule had it, it terrifies him that he gave it away. He was hurt so badly, there’s no way he could have— He must have though, he must have...
He runs anyway, screaming into the dark, “RULE? RULE, ARE YOU THERE?”
And for the first time he gets a cry in return, “I’m—I’m here.”
Somehow, something in that tone only scares him more.

Trying to decipher Legend’s rings
The one on his ring finger might be the Rang Ring Lv 2. It's the right color and has a crescent-like shape on the left side of it.
The black gem one seems to be a friendship ring, I didn't see any other ring that looked like it.
The one beneath it is hard to tell. It might be Roc's ring since it's the same color and has what looks like a cracked(?) pattern.
It might also be the bomber's ring because of the two little black dots, but the color doesn't match at all.

September LU Community Write-a-Thon Round Up: 405,699 Words in One Day!
Welcome back to another roundup! In this fourth monthly Write-a-thon, held September 1st from 12 am to 12 am, we had 73 writers join us in our game to write as many productive words as humanly possible. And these amazing writers put their heads down, picked their pencils up (or keyboards, as appropriate), and slammed out over 400,000 words! This is an amazing accomplishment, thank you all so much for coming — this month was a blast!
Directly below are the general statistics for this month (so much credit to the lovely @zarvasace) followed by the Winner’s Circle, Clubs and the Superlatives sorted in alphabetical order. This month, the statistics and clubs were self-reported through submission sheets — superlatives, as every month, were assigned by other members of the event. man if I gotta write bad fics, it should at least be easy! But it’s not! It is also hard to write this bad fic
Fanfic prompt : you know the joke where people refer to their cats as their roommates and you get sentences like my roommate ate my pet gold fish or my roommate bites me in the leg when he wants attention but it is just shadow and four and the chain just assumes that four has a cat because what sort of lunatic would eat a pet
Four : My roommate tried to suffocate me by laying on my face when I sleep
Twilight thinking that four is talking about a cat : your roommate just wants to be close to you mine does the same thing I just move him to my chest
Four : he can’t lie on my chest he is way too heavy for it and I am like the same size
Twilight still thinking that four has a cat : that sucks I suppose
Or
Four thinking that twilight also has a shadow living with him because of the dark magic he is involved with : does your roommate stare at you while you sleep from high places
Twilight still thinking about cats : definitely but they all do that because they can protect you better if they can see everything so they go to high places
Four thinking that twilight is a shadow expert: oh , that makes sense now thank you I guess I have to thank him now
Twilight still NOT getting it : mine likes head pats but everyone of them is different

Four : should I get him a something to see him better t because he is as black as the void and during night I sometimes trip over him and then he gets offended because he thinks I do it on purpose

Four : also he keeps running around when it gets dark and he also keeps breaking things because of that
Twilight : those are called getting the zoomies they happened mostly at night because they are nocturnal creatures and usually mean they are excited about something
This continues for weeks till four basically knows everything about cat behavior and what they mean
And when he gets home (the chain was forced to rent rooms at an inn because his grandpa's house isn’t big enough) the first thing he does is pet shadow and tell him that he is thankful for trying to protect him during the night
Shadow straight up melts about it because he never got any praise or attention for his hard work
Twilight who learned a ton about shadow expected a black cat that four found in a random ditch and then rescued from his past owner Vaati who treated him poorly
He did not expect an actual hylian looking demon who is currently getting head pats and melting under them (no literally he is liquified from them)
Maybe something was lost in translation but who cares about that now
Because he was off help at least

:D Thanks for the ask! I'll just give a summary cause I haven't written much for it yet
It's gonna be Hyrule's pov and after a long drawn out battle the chain makes their way to an inn with a bar. Legend and Warriors end up getting a little too drunk and trauma dumping to each other and just end up in a sobbing mess on the floor. Hyrule who was watching all of that and taking care of them basically, led them to their room and they ended up cuddling which he was quick to get Wild to take a picture of. Which they show Legend and Warriors when they wake up to which they try to delete it
I'm really excited to write this but it might take a while cause I have a lot of things to write 😅

I headcanon that both Wars and Legend have self harmed before, although for different reasons. Hyrule knows about Legend and checks him every once in a while to make sure he hasn't done it again.
No one knows about Warriors, though. He's been more stressed than ever, some of his insecurities are coming back, and feels the need for release. But when he learns Legend has done it, too, they learn to support each other (with Hyrule’s help too of course).

I was hoping someone would ask about this one!
So you know how a common headcanon is that Legend feels guilty and blames himself for Hyrule’s era? Well in this fic, Hyrule blames him too!
Hyrule was raised on the idea that the Hero of Legend was a failure because he didn't kill Ganon and "allowed" the kingdom to fall into ruins. So instead of seeing Legend as his hero, he sees Legend as the cause of all his problems :D
