Day EXTRA Martell Week: Favorite trope/HC

Even the extra ends, yesssss! It was going to be a fuller image to show you the top and pants that I feel like the Martells wear under some tunics, but it stayed at the bust size. One of HC that I try to capture is the use of Khol on the eyes like the rings inspired by ones of Andalusian origin that a friend showed me.

The one in the drawing is a young Meria, by the way, about 30 years old, a mother and I think she was already princess regent of Dorne, so she was a determined and tenacious woman from a very young age. willing to tarnish her image in history, if that gave freedom to her lands and her people.

i think a lot of why i find it hard to predict arya’s ending is simply because i want her to do everything. i want her to have what lyanna didn’t, what so many other women and girls like her didn’t which is OPTIONS. which is FREEDOM. i want her to have a seat on a council and then change her mind and go sailing. i want her to work within the system, realize she hates that actually, and become a bandit like the brotherhood. i want her to build ships and raise castles and reject marriage proposals and have crazy love affairs and sail beyond the sunset sea and come back home whenever she wants and know that she is always welcome, that no matter how improper she is and how far she travels, she can always just turn around and come back home, sit by the fire and tell Sansa and Harwin and Jeyne and Beth and Gendry about everything she’s seen.

I was waiting for this day because there is VERY LITTLE Daemon x Arianne content, and these lovebirds desperate for love deserve much more. Their scenes and chemistry are so <3<3<3. Love you very much. I imagine a scene after all the books, I'm not going to say what I hope happens with them since it's for another time
