So Today I finished playing The Teal Mask story for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! And honestly, it surprised I'm in love with it! So one thing I have to say is I'm surprised by how quickly Carmine grew on me as a character!

At first, while I didn't hate hate her but didn't like her either. But that soon changed after playing through the story and getting to know her!! Kieran is 100℅ right she's not as bad as she seems.

At first, she's kinda a jerk but not outright rude or anything. So I enjoyed having her as a rival and later on in the story a partner as well! (Also Carmine trying to find a mask for the MC was so cute and wholesome she's the best.) Nice to see her realize the skill and the talent the MC has for battling.

OH AND HER BATTLE THEME IS A BANGER IT'S SO GOOD!!!

One thing I loved is that we got to team up with her and spend a good chunk of time together that way! (Also NGL Carmine carried me in a lot of battles 💀) It was really fun to go around Kitakami and beat the crap out of The Loyal Three and her reactions to them.

Honestly can't wait to see more of her in The Indigo Disk! ^^ (Oh and of course I love Kieran as well!! Known about him for ages and was looking forward to getting a know him. But I'll talk about him more after I play the Indigo Disk.)

Oh, and she probably has one of the best lines in the entire series.

I wouldn't really call myself an Edelgard stan(more of a Byleth stan), but an Edelgard fan. Much as I love her, I feel it would have been better if she wasn't condemning the Nabateans for being what they were since at times it felt a bit much?

But besides that, what are your favorite things about Rhea? Very curious to hear.

There is no problem with liking a character!

Favorite things about Rhea? Oh boy. OH BOY! A bunch of things.

She's the child of a deity and sees herself as unworthy to rule. Only her mother is perfect. Inferiority complex? You bet!

Survived a genocide and still wishes to help humans. She STILL wishes to care for them, to the point that her actions led to her being called a saint. This woman tries her damndest to help others despite having suffered such cruelty at the hands of humans.

Rhea is SO fucking awkward. She doesn't want to go to the dining hall because she thinks your status will make things awkward! To the point she sends letters to the advice box!! THE ARCHBISHOP WANTS TO SOCIALIZE BUT FEELS ISOLATED BECAUSE OF HER ROLE? HMMMM GOOD STUFF.

She's the reason there are so many cats and dogs around the monastery. Apparently she REALLY likes small animals and honestly? That's a mood.

An absolute fucking MENACE on the battlefield. PUNCHING Nemesis the fuck out? Hell yeah she is THAT bitch.

When she snaps it's oohhh so good. The emotions. The rage. The pain. The sadness. The way she breaks down fully and really starts lashing out because of the hurt she feels. That's that good stuff.

The way she just... wants her mother back SO BADLY, but she refuses to sacrifice a life. The apostles? She could've drained their asses and Sothis would've come back ready to party. But she didn't. She couldn't do it.

She dislikes hot tea because it scalds her lizard tongue lol

when bored on genshin, i start to hope the character i presently play as just starts spouting new lines

imagine exploring fontaine as wanderer, because zoom. and you start just going around in circles because you ran out of things to do

when suddenly, an all too familiar scoff but an unfamiliar line, “do you really have nothing better to do than to make me nauseous?”

your hands freeze, letting go of controlling wanderer’s movements of going in circles. and zoom in to look at him

he holds his default expression, still staring obliviously into the distance

strange. must be a new voice line. so you check his voice lines to see if there was anything new

there was not

you convince yourself that it must be just a cool surprise hoyoverse added. to make the characters more alive

little did you know

you reach for your phone to tell some of your friends

so you don’t notice his eyes adjusting to look directly at you through the screen
