dan was into blair much more then she was in him ;/

Only because the writers had Chair blinders on because there’s absolutely no reason why that should be especially when you hear how Blair talks about what and how she feels with Dan, Dorota literally thought she was in a cult because spending time with him made Blair so happy that it was unusual.

And what’s interesting and frustrating is that honestly, I don’t feel that they didn’t work because Blair didn’t love Dan as much as he loved her, it didn’t work because she carried all of her insecurities from her relationship with Chuck into her relationship with Dan and the show didn’t let her move past them, instead they just redirected her to Chuck again when she’d outgrown him and I was OK with how much Blair was centered in the Dair relationship considering that Chuck overpowered everything and there was no room for her in their relationship, which she says.

Day 26: Favorite Non-Canon Ship

Don Draper and Joan Harris, Mad Men

I didn’t really ship them till this past season, but like most things I do, once I DID ship them, my God I shipped them HARD.  Their chemistry is RIDICULOUS.  I think they genuinely respect and admire each other, which is why Don was so devastated by what went down at the end of S5. 

Part of me never wants them to actually happen cause it would ruin all the wonderfulness that is between them right now.  And then the other part of me just wants them to run away together, get married and have lots of beautiful babies.
