Here you go, Lords, Ladies and Nobles.

Based off this post… here’s some of my own concepts (you don’t have to agree with me, thats just how I see the situation.)

Shez being lost to Epimenides would NOT be painless, it would almost be like watching someone be torn in half, it’d be agonizing and a slow death.

Almost as if both their life and power was being drained out of them, and once their body is nothing more then a husk- Snap.

Shez’s body crumbles into a heap, pale and with the life drained from their eyes, limbs twisting in ways they shouldn’t be twisted.

While the house leader you chose rushes to Shez’s side, the other two attack Epimenides before they can become too powerful.

Despite frantic searching the house leader aiding Shez can’t find anything to indicate their still alive, and leave them on the ground, helping the other two leaders be rid of Epimenides.

Once the trio get out of Zarhas, your house leader has to break the news to your army.

The most affected in the Black Eagles (Disregarding the Merc Whistle) would be Hubert, Bernie, Caspar and Linhardt. (I imagine the others would push grief aside to focus on the war, but these four would be the most visibly shaken up) The only reason I add Hubert to this list is because of his and Shez’s A support, where Hubert expresses concern for Shez turning against them. At first he would attempt to pass it on as Shez truly turning against them, and Edelguard needing to kill them to survive, but once Edelguard relays the full details of what occurred in Zarhas to Hubert, he realizes Shez never turned on them, and starts to be more upset by the incident. (I like writing characters who are normally stone faced while emotionally vulnerable, could you tell?)

Of the Blue Lions, All of them would take the hit hard. Most wondering if they could’ve done something to keep this course of action from occurring, Ashe would wonder if he really did the right thing, not showing Shez the letter. Felix and Ingrid feeling as if they just lost someone close to them all over again (a little bit of a bias… I imagine Shez has a sibling-like relationship with Felix and Ingrid)

The Golden Deer… Oh the Golden Deer. They would not take this well at ALL. Few would be dead set on figuring out who caused this, who was behind what sent Shez to an early grave. Ignatz doesn’t know how to handle the immense grief he holds, and vents his emotions into his art. Leonie, Lysithea, Hilda and Marianne regret not cherishing the time they had with Shez before it ran out. Lorenz cannot shake the feeling he failed to protect an ally and the others handle the grief well, compared to the others.

Three Hopes Spoilers so, beware of that!

So I’ve been thinking, What would’ve happened if Shez didn’t realize Epimenides/Arval was after them? Would they have been destroyed or would there have been time for the House Leaders to save them? If Shez was killed, and the House Leaders managed to get out of Zahras, how would the House Leader for your forces break the news to your allies? Would Byleth take it heavily, or be barely phased? Would Sothis rejoice, or grieve? What about the character Shez gave the Merc Whistle to? How do you think they’d react?

But more importantly would you think Shez would meet their end painlessly or while suffering? Would the house leaders fight till the end to save them, or realize it was a lost cause and try and make their getaway?
