Prince of Light vs Destruction Lord

Done for @fecompendium‘s Hero/Villian swap, with Lyon as the protag and Ephraim as  the big bad aka the demon king. I really wanted to properly do the coloring and outlines but was then again exhausted halfway though T 7 T

I initially wanted to do just Lyon and was actually trying to make his costume somewhat like the other light-magic mages in the game (Artur, L’Arachel), but man, trying to come up with a hero-ish color theme for a villain is hard! xD I thought I’d play around with the whites and golds on him, or the same red/purple tone but a bit more lighter. Ephraim tho would be easier to villainize. I thought of adding the huge shoulder pads, more armor pieces, made his gauntlet metallic instead of leather-ish, dark in color and clawish. Someone here on Tumblr made an analysis how other Magvel royals would end up getting possessed by the demon king if it weren’t Lyon, and Ephraim was pretty low in the candidate list probably partially thanks to his incompatibility with studying and magic, but if he were to be a villain, I think he’ll be terrifying af. He’d probably not use dark magic to bring his pops back to life (if he was ill like Vigarde), but would probably use it to frickin dethrone him instead and be this war-hungry tyrant, ohhh the nightmare lol. Lyon on the other hand would the true soft boi he would be without Formortiis’ influence, and would probably be in a bit of a situation like L’Arachel would be in canon. I first imagined him as a light mage/priest/bishop, but being the magic geek he is, he’d probably be a sage and kick ass with anima magic as well.

On other notes, I’m still playing FE4 and there are tons of stuff I want to draw. The game is good for an old one, but I can’t help poking fun of stuff I like from time to time, so stay tuned for Fire Emblem: Genealogy Shenanigans of the Holy War.

Bro I think the “new” Amenegozen dude is Fukuchi. If you look closely on the close-up the exact same scar is on his cheek.

We could be having something like “Dazai and Chuuya, Age 15” with an ability that can reanimate the dead, because I don’t think Fukuchi is among the living anymore. It might just be someone else controlling his body and mind like a puppet.

Now that the anime is done, how long do you think it’s gonna be until the manga is caught up?

Like, is the next chapter gonna be super long, or will it take multiple chapters to end the arc (meaning multiple months until new content)?

Im back on my Hokai Star Rail shit.

I need someone to agree with me- Imbibitor Lunae and someone else, probably from the Astral Express, probably in an Alternate Universe, with the Toothless and Hiccup scenes from HTTYD. Like-

Trailblazer finding Imbibitor Lunae chained and tied up, and originally going for the kill after hearing rumors, but instead they decide to cut him loose, being thrown backwards before they could unchain the Vidyahara from the ground.

Later, the Trailblazer comes back, this time with Himeko, she’s shocked to see a Vidyahara chained up with the sliced remains of the rope on the ground, but agrees to help the Trailblazer treat the dragon. The red haired woman mentions how the Trailblazer likely would need to earn the Vidyahara’s trust before he would let them close enough to remove the chain from his neck, considering how vital and vulnerable the area is.

This causes the Trailblazer to keep coming back periodically, keeping a comfortable distance from the Vidyahara, but not ignoring him. Rather, they speak (although the dragon never replied) and speak of whatever ails them. The newest book they found, weapon practice, sparring with Yanqing or someone of the like. The Trailblazer would also bring food- although he wasn’t exactly aware of what the Vidyahara diet was (Lady Bailu was under strict confinement after her most recent escape), and would bring things like meat with some bread or soup (Welt and Himeko were always happy to provide the extra portion. They may not be rich but they’re not dirt poor).

Eventually, one night the Trailblazer walks into the usual clearing to find they’re Vidyahara friend bleeding from the arm, with a torn peice of blue cloth on a bush (Yanqing, who had reacted when the Imbibitor Lunae first attacked, but upon realizing he was chained, ran to get Jing Yuan). Although with some struggle, they managed to treat the injury to the arm, the Vidyahara would still not allow the Trailblazer close enough to his neck to remove the chains.

…Fuck it I’m making this a story. I’ll post the link when its up. Wish me luck lads.

So I started playing Echoes.

My thoughts on some characters- (I am Act 3, please do not spoil :))

Berkut seems like a neat antagonist, but so far seems kinda plain. It might just be that my standards are high considering I played the Sacred Stones first. (Lyon was one of the best antagonists. Fight me.)

Alm, my dude, how’s the undiagnosed ADHD going for you, man?

The Ram Village crew has a special place in my heart… Minus Faye. She’s nice n’ all but kinda.. bleh. Plus her offensive value is kind of nonexistent.

My introduction to Luthier was through Fire Emblem Heroes, and I was kinda worried he’d be like a less intense version of Bernadetta from Three Houses, but I am actually really happy I was wrong. He’s probably one of my favorite mages as of right now and his relationship with Delthea is really sweet.

I’m actually kinda mad Alm has supports with like… three characters. Two of which are plain ladies who I *REALLY* want to bench and one who I don’t have yet (Mycen). It just seems like wasted potential, especially with characters like Luthier, Clive, even the rest of the Ram Village crew. It just makes a lot of characters feel… shallow to me. I mean, Luthier has openly called Alm his “first human friend” in one of the dungeon dialogues i’ve seen. It would’ve been nice to see the two interact more outside of the dungeons. (Plus, it also opens the avenue for a support with Delthea, the first one kinda being Delthea making sure Alm wouldn’t hurt her brother, and the rest being Delthea trying to rope Alm into some BS).

Tatarrah. Annoying bastard, yes, but cmon. Why no vs. Dialogue between him and Luthier. Let Luthier be a vengeful little bastard, as a treat. If there was a Luthier vs. Delthea dialogue, I missed it but I’m gonna be sad if I look back and there isn’t one.

In Protagonist Sense.

Alm’s the favorite. I’m not 100% on Celica. She’s neat, yeah, but just kinda seems a little hypocritical. She scolds Alm for saying how Lima was a bad king when, in all reality thats fairly true. Did it strike a nerve for her, yes. But was Alm necessarily wrong? No. The situation could’ve been handled a whole lot better, but I do get that there had to be the route diversion. I just wish that whole conflict was a little better written.

Yes, this is real! I assume this is something of a tradition for Panthers fans. But, Rats being thrown onto the ice (which I believe is only on home ice do not quote me on that, not a Panthers fan), began when a Panther’s player killed a rat that had gotten into the Panther’s locker room with a slapshot, and later scored two goals with that same stick. This led to the term “Rat Trick” (a play on the phrase “Hat Trick”) and rats being thrown onto the ice.

Based off this post… here’s some of my own concepts (you don’t have to agree with me, thats just how I see the situation.)

Shez being lost to Epimenides would NOT be painless, it would almost be like watching someone be torn in half, it’d be agonizing and a slow death.

Almost as if both their life and power was being drained out of them, and once their body is nothing more then a husk- Snap.

Shez’s body crumbles into a heap, pale and with the life drained from their eyes, limbs twisting in ways they shouldn’t be twisted.

While the house leader you chose rushes to Shez’s side, the other two attack Epimenides before they can become too powerful.

Despite frantic searching the house leader aiding Shez can’t find anything to indicate their still alive, and leave them on the ground, helping the other two leaders be rid of Epimenides.

Once the trio get out of Zarhas, your house leader has to break the news to your army.

The most affected in the Black Eagles (Disregarding the Merc Whistle) would be Hubert, Bernie, Caspar and Linhardt. (I imagine the others would push grief aside to focus on the war, but these four would be the most visibly shaken up) The only reason I add Hubert to this list is because of his and Shez’s A support, where Hubert expresses concern for Shez turning against them. At first he would attempt to pass it on as Shez truly turning against them, and Edelguard needing to kill them to survive, but once Edelguard relays the full details of what occurred in Zarhas to Hubert, he realizes Shez never turned on them, and starts to be more upset by the incident. (I like writing characters who are normally stone faced while emotionally vulnerable, could you tell?)

Of the Blue Lions, All of them would take the hit hard. Most wondering if they could’ve done something to keep this course of action from occurring, Ashe would wonder if he really did the right thing, not showing Shez the letter. Felix and Ingrid feeling as if they just lost someone close to them all over again (a little bit of a bias… I imagine Shez has a sibling-like relationship with Felix and Ingrid)

The Golden Deer… Oh the Golden Deer. They would not take this well at ALL. Few would be dead set on figuring out who caused this, who was behind what sent Shez to an early grave. Ignatz doesn’t know how to handle the immense grief he holds, and vents his emotions into his art. Leonie, Lysithea, Hilda and Marianne regret not cherishing the time they had with Shez before it ran out. Lorenz cannot shake the feeling he failed to protect an ally and the others handle the grief well, compared to the others.

So I’ve been thinking, What would’ve happened if Shez didn’t realize Epimenides/Arval was after them? Would they have been destroyed or would there have been time for the House Leaders to save them? If Shez was killed, and the House Leaders managed to get out of Zahras, how would the House Leader for your forces break the news to your allies? Would Byleth take it heavily, or be barely phased? Would Sothis rejoice, or grieve? What about the character Shez gave the Merc Whistle to? How do you think they’d react?

But more importantly would you think Shez would meet their end painlessly or while suffering? Would the house leaders fight till the end to save them, or realize it was a lost cause and try and make their getaway?

The Misadventures Of My PCs

so im currently running a dnd campaign and the players are “banana crusader” (no real name or anything we legit just call him banana) and he got a bag of holding from a quest. When he saw guards of a town trying to kill someone he STUFFED THEM IN THE BAG OF HOLDING TILL THEY SUFFOCATED. He also chugged a mysterious potion that made him half his size. There was also a town with a plant that made anyone in the vicinity of it insane and banana’s first question about it was “can i smoke it?” also during a fight with some evil clowns he tried to kick one in the balls and broke his foot.

we also have Giarin, a non binary birdfolk sorcerer who’s player hasnt gotten a single single digit roll. They will always default to grabbing someone and yeeting thrm from high in the air yelling “HIPPIDY HOPPIDY GET OFF THE PROPERTY!” And during the evil clown fight they killed two clowns in one yeet.
