His face looked a bit defeated as he heard her less than desired news. He had rushed to get here on time as best he could. It seemed all his effort was in vain.

“Ah. Thank you, Mine. Is he.. supposed to return at all tonight?” It was hard to keep up with his schedule and hours as it varied sometimes, depending on his commissions load. Not that he put in much effort to learn it for himself.

✿— “Sorry Yuki, but ‘fraid not. He told me not to worry about staying up and waiting for him tonight, since he probably won’t be back from the fashion show until late this evening or early tomorrow morning.” She had offered to go in his stead, but Mine of all people knew better than to come between Ayame and something after he had made up his mind. “I’m just about to close up shop if you’d like to stay for tea though!”

✿— Was this man wearing cosplay for a reason? What was she even talking about, she never needed an excuse to wear cosplay. With that in mind she makes her way over and begins looking him over. “Who made your outfit? I haven’t seen this design at any conventions lately-- are you cosplaying a new anime or something?”

Learning even a little bit more about his idol. “U-Um, y-yes, that is, I wanted to try something like t-this.” Careful of his clumsy behavior, he reached out to touch a design, stopping a hair’s breadth from actually pressing his hands on the fabric. “I don’t think I’d look right in that though, with the color.”

He often gets overly-excited as well, which is why he trusts me to make sure every detail is perfect in our designs before the product is handed over to customers.” She smiles and nods before looking towards the design the other had pointed out, humming softly in response. “On the contrary, I think it would do well to compliment your fair complexion and features. Perhaps a different pattern for the sash though...” Mine taps her chin in thought before motioning for the other to follow her. “I have a few new sets of embroidered fabrics if you’d like to take a look!”
