Even in the what if series [what if… Thor was an only child] IT SHOWS US. Thor and Loki can only see eachother as brothers in every universe, even where Loki wasn’t adopted and they aren’t related in anyway.

Loki, nodding casually: Uhuh .. Mother taught me, open it.

Mobius, starting to carefully unfold the crane: Are you sure? I’d hate to ruin your work.

Loki, watching: …

Although [amongst others] they do still have a rather nasty scar on their back; a direct hit from Thors lightning during a fight. [don’t worry, they’re over it now .. mostly.]
