Satara is located in a great area for game viewing and it's also very family friendly, with a large swimming pool and jungle gym, as well as a big shop, restaurant and place to order fast food. It doesn't, however, have a nice view like some of the other camps, because the terrain here is very flat and it also doesn't overlook a river.

The campsite, however, is extremely popular - especially the stands along the fence line, from where campers stand a chance of seeing elephants, buffalo and other large game. Spotted hyenas also walk up and down the fence every evening, but please do not feed them, because if they become problem animals, park officials will have to put them down.

Satara liegt in einer fabelhaften Gegend für Wildbeobachtungen und ist auch sehr familienfreundlich, mit einem großen Pool und Klettergerüst sowie einem großen Shop, einem Restaurant und einer Fast Food Theke. Es hat jedoch keine schöne Aussicht wie einige der anderen Camps, da das Gelände hier sehr flach ist und auch keinen Fluss überblickt.

Der Campingplatz ist jedoch äußerst beliebt - insbesondere die Parzellen entlang der Zaunlinie, von denen aus die Camper Elefanten, Büffel und anderes Großwild beobachten können. Auch Tüpfelhyänen laufen jeden Abend am Zaun auf und ab. Bitte nicht füttern, denn wenn sie zu Problemtieren werden, müssen die Parkbeamten sie töten.

Cape Town is especially famous for the Table Mountain - the symbol of the city. Letaba Restcamp - Kruger Park is strategically placed in the central region, situated on the southern bank of the Letaba River only 50 km from the Phalaborwa Gate. It is also the junction of the 3 main roads in the Park. The restcamp and caravan park have beautiful lawns and colossal shade trees, giving it character. The area is well known for its large apple-leaf, umbrella thorn and mopane trees. Rare animals species, such as eland, Sharpes grysbok and roan may be seen, and common sights include elephant, buffalo, zebra, waterbuck, sable, nyala, tsessebe and cheetah.

An AA emergency service and workshop, information centre with the elephant as the central theme, film shows on conservation and wildlife certain evenings, first-aid centre, petrol and diesel, restaurant, self-service and take-aways at the cafeteria, laundromat, supermarket, barbecue facilities. ------------------------

Das Letaba Restcamp im Kruger Park liegt strategisch günstig in der Zentralregion, am Südufer des Letaba Flusses nur 50 km vom Phalaborwa Gate entfernt. Es ist auch die Kreuzung der 3 Hauptstraßen des Parks. Das Restcamp und der Caravanpark haben schöne Rasenflächen und große Schattenbäume, die ihm Charakter verleihen. Die Gegend ist bekannt für ihre großen Apple Leaf, Schirmakazien und Mopane-Bäume. Seltene Tierarten wie Elenantilopen, Sharpes-Grysbock und Pferdeantilope können beobachtet werden, häufige Sichtugen sind auch Elefanten, Büffel, Zebras, Wasserböcke, Rappen-, Nyala-, Tsessebeantilopen und Geparden.

AA-Notdienst und Werkstatt, ein Informationszentrum mit Themenschwerpunkt Elefanten, Filmvorführungen zu Naturschutz und Wildtieren an bestimmten Abenden, Erste-Hilfe-Station, Benzin und Diesel, Restaurant, Selbstbedienung und Take-away in der Cafeteria, Waschsalon, Supermarkt sowie Grillplätze.

The Graskop Gorge Lift is the first of its kind in South Africa and offers the perfect point to stop off along the Panorama Route. A glass-bottomed elevator takes visitors 51 metres down the side of a cliff into the Afromontane forest of the gorge below. At the top of the cliff, a restaurant, craft market and small collection of shops offer refreshment and retail opportunities at the Lift Co Lifestyle Centre. Once in the gorge, 600 metres of elevated walkways provide a path from which to explore the forest and its vast array of flora and fauna.

In der Schlucht angekommen, bieten 600 Meter erhöhte Gehwege einen Weg, um den Wald und seine vielfältige Flora und Fauna zu erkunden.
