To Add What Constitutes "flashing," For Extra Context.

To add what constitutes "flashing," for extra context.

I found this online:

What rate of flashing light can trigger seizures?

Between 3-30 Hertz (flashes per second) are the common rates to trigger seizures but this varies from person to person. While some people are sensitive at frequencies up to 60 Hertz, sensitivity under 3 Hertz is not common.

Please stop trigger tagging with #epilepsy tw/cw/warning/etc.

I need every single person to understand how horrible tumblr’s tagging system is

I go into the tag for epilepsy and its all flashing lights. We can’t use our own tag because people without epilepsy fill it up with improper warnings.

Use ‘flashing’ in place of ‘epilepsy’ in your tags. You aren’t warning people of epileptics, you’re warning us of flashing lights. Please please tag properly. Epileptics say this endlessly and constantly and it’s ignored. You are risking lives by doing this.

Here’s proof of what I mean:

Please Stop Trigger Tagging With #epilepsy Tw/cw/warning/etc.
Please Stop Trigger Tagging With #epilepsy Tw/cw/warning/etc.
Please Stop Trigger Tagging With #epilepsy Tw/cw/warning/etc.
Please Stop Trigger Tagging With #epilepsy Tw/cw/warning/etc.

THIS POST IS 100% OKAY TO REBLOG, I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE WITHOUT EPILEPSY TO ESPECIALLY DO SO!

A downtown scene in late 70's comic book style. Muted tones dominate the color scheme. Everything is overcast with yellow light except the Robin's egg blue sky.

The main focus is a large fireball knocking through a building sending fragments of the building flying in all directions. Some middle ground buildings are intact. A small park is spared from the rubble as well. The fireball is just starting to hit another building in the front. The windows of the front building have cracks radiating out from the impact.

Below lies traffic. Cars, buses, and a bright red truck are crashing as every vehicle tries to avoid the falling building rubble. People are running from their vehicles in small crowds while looking up at the sky.

In the front is a cafe with two yellow umbrellas busy with a well dressed crowd. Several people in suits and dresses try to run from the fireball, but many stay seated. The people fleeing look towards the space under the viewer. Where they're running to. The people still seated and the waiter remain fixated on the fireball that will hit them.

How about a pair of geese helping raise some ducklings?

A goose stands looking at the viewer in the foreground. The background has a pond in a forested area, full of trees. The pond has a small wooded island with geese and ducks. To the left of the first goose is a family of ducks with lots of ducklings.

The front goose made it very clear that I'd stepped one step too close to the fence.

I don't know if I still have the picture on my phone, but last year there were ducklings and goslings at the same time. The geese and ducks took turns watching a large group of babies.

I'm quite terrible at small talk and this will help immensely!

Thank you all for posting and adding insights.

I've tried asking people what they like to do, but it almost always ends up awkward. Asking how they spend their time is much less ambiguous and I'm much more thoughtful.
