I'm Quite Terrible At Small Talk And This Will Help Immensely!
I'm quite terrible at small talk and this will help immensely!
Thank you all for posting and adding insights.
I've tried asking people what they like to do, but it almost always ends up awkward. Asking how they spend their time is much less ambiguous and I'm much more thoughtful.

Zendaya Stole the Show in a Schiaparelli Lobster Skirt
Hang it in the Louvre.
Thanks to the now-settled WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, promo-tour fashion is back on schedule, and who better than the fashion icon whose wardrobe is always bold and never boring to make her return? Ladies and gentlemen, Zendaya.
On Sunday, the actress stepped out promoting Dune at Comic-Con Experience São Paulo in Brazil, donning a monochrome Schiaparelli look from its Spring-Summer 2024 runway show. Presenting Dune: Part Two alongside her co-stars (Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler, and Florence Pugh), Zendaya went for sea-creature couture: an ivory plunging collared blouse paired with a slinky, ruched cream maxiskirt, which featured a 3-D fabric lobster (spines, antennas, and all). The design detail paid homage to the Italian house’s founder, Elsa Schiaparelli’s, 1937 lobster dress in collaboration with Salvador Dalí. However, Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, referred to it as a “sandworm” in regard to Dune’s fictional strange creatures.
Beauty-wise, Zendaya styled her chin-grazing bob with a slicked-back wet look and complimented her radiant glow with feathered lashes, rosy cheeks, and glossy lips. Diamond stud earrings and a pair of optic white pointed-toe heels provided the finishing touches to her winter white look.
The only other person who comes second to us for being in love with Zendaya is her boyfriend, Tom Holland. During a new interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, Holland shared why he goes to her for his acting advice.

"Zendaya is probably the most honest with me," he shared. "Which I love, ‘cause you need that."
Last June, he told The Hollywood Reporter that the pair try to keep their love life as private as possible. "Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of, and we want to keep as sacred as possible," he said. "We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers."

Personal note, I did skip listing the numbers showing retweets, likes, etc because I've seen others skip it to avoid confusion. If I should add it in future memes, please let me know.

Yeeclaw indeed.
How fun are those hats?
(None of my plush lobsters have hats. I should make them hats)
And the Tumblr is a 5/5 shop. I think this is the shop that made the squid

Yeeclaw - lobsters on their way to the seahorse rodeo. Lobster pattern by gheebeanscrafty, hats were just added accessories.
About me
This is my accessibility/lobster/opinion Tumblr.
If I make a mistake doing an image ID, then please correct it(someone has already done this and thank you in particular). I appreciate it.
My mending/stitching Tumblr is. @a-strawberry-mouse
I take regular breaks as I am chronically ill.
Lobsters and crustaceans as a whole are my favorite animals.
I've been told my vibe is,
"Volunteer at a museum that's pleasant enough but knows a little too much about the exhibits."
I have to agree that it's fairly accurate. I practically grew up in a small museum. I've helped run events of several kinds, volunteered at several places, worked fast food, and start ups.
I do not have a gender. In general I use they/them.
ID requests and complaints to my ask button and I will get to them to the best of my ability.
We are well beyond canary in the coalmine warning levels with the way trans people and particularly trans women are treated on this site.
Maybe you've heard the metaphor of allowing wolves and sheep to share the same space, welcoming everyone. You end up with just wolves because allowing them in that space makes it unsafe for any sheep. Or the story about how a nazi goes into a dive bar and is refused service. The bartender then explains to someone else at the bar that if you serve them once they tell their friends and before you know it you're the nazi bar they all go to and normal customers don't feel safe.
Terfs and other bigots are seeing these targeted harassment campaigns succeed against trans women and rejoicing. They see Tumblr ban them and officially stand by those decisions as endorsement for their harassment. It's a sign to bigots across the internet that Tumblr is a good place for them.
And what's more is that a lot of us probably don't realize just how much trans women contribute to Tumblr. The women banned recently were sources of site-wide memes and posts I wasn't even aware originated from them.any years old memes and references can be traced back to trans women on this site.
How many of these folks have to be removed before this is no longer a site you want to be a part of it? Sure you cultivate your own experience, but you can't follow or interact with people who aren't here. And if I wanted to interact with the nazis and terfs I'd go to reddit.
I encourage everyone to reblog this. Trans women shouldn't have to be the only ones speaking out against the bigotry they're experiencing. They shouldn't be the only ones risking their blogs being nuked by staff. We have to stand with them.
