This is the closest we’ve had Simon helping wille through a panic attack, he knew wille needed him to re-ensure him he wasn’t alone, that simon was there with him no matter what, through tender touches, a hug and a gentle kiss.

I really need them to talk more deeply about this kind of stuff, Wille opening up about his extreme anxiety and Simon about how his past with his family have influenced the way he faces his problems.

I just watched an interview with Omar, a month after the premiere of YR, and in one part he says that Edvin and he wanted the intimate scenes to be more hot, sexy... but it wouldn't be because of Wille and Simon being young and inexperienced. But now we get to see how Season 2 progressed and how hot and sexy it was, their hunger for each other... That's amazing!

The inexperience and playfulness in the first season was the most realistic portrayal of intimacy i've ever seen on screen: two young boys falling in love by getting to know each other, growing such pure feelings, exploring and sharing new experiences for the first time - together.

This is where their growth and maturity during intimate scenes in season two comes from: they came a long way, but started to learn more about each other since the very first kiss. 💜

no actually I will not shut up about wilhelm almost jumping out of his skin and getting all red and embarrassed and nervous when simon asks him if he remembers telling him he loves him when he was high, simon recognizing his avoidant behaviour (instead of misinterpreting it) and reassuring him, and the fear quite literally melting off wilhelm's face into the cutest grin
