Softness For Today Before I Head To Bed.
softness for today before i head to bed.
imagine your love interest holding you as you let out years and years of built up emotion into one singular moment. you're laying down in a comfy bed, surrounded by the soft sheets and blankets and feeling their arms enveloping you into the safest embrace you've ever, ever felt. they're rocking you from side to side, rubbing your back, stroking your hair, and murmuring comforting words into your ear. they love you so, so much, and they think you deserve so much better than to carry all of this burdening weight on your shoulders... so they'll carry it for you for a while. for as long as you need it.
"i'm here... i'm here. it's okay. you're okay. let it out for me. it's alright... i'll always love you, okay?"

i'm just here. i am literally just here
im bored
it's late by a day and i apologize, but this is important.
if you don't do anything else today,
Please have a moment of silence for the people who were killed instead of freed when news of emancipation finally reached the furthest corners of the american south.
have another moment for the ledgers, catalogs, and records that were burned and the homes that were destroyed to hide the presence of very much alive and still enslaved people on dozens of plantations and homesteads across the south for decades after emancipation.
and have a third moment for those who were hunted and killed while fleeing the south to find safety across the border, overseas, in the north and to the west.
black people. light a candle, write a note to those who have passed telling them what you have achieved in spite of the racist and intolerant conditions of this world, feel the warmth of the flame under your hand, say a prayer of rememberance if you are religious, place the note under the candle, and then blow it out.
if you have children, sit them down and tell them anything you know about the life of oldest black person you've ever met. it doesn't have to be your own family. tell them what you know about what life was like for us in the days, years, decades after emancipation. if you don't know much, look it up and learn about it together.
This is Juneteenth.
white people CAN interact with this post. share it, spread it.

This is a mini introduction into the next event. Basically, you will receive a character of your choosing with an S/O who is [personality type]. This will be based on the MBTI (Myer's Briggs Type Indicator) The different types are in the picture below.

The winner of this will give me their personality type (or a random one) to write about.
2nd Place: A matchup
3rd Place: An shitty icon
I am not very confident in my editing at all, but I couldn't really think of another prize that won't stress me out and I think editing is fun even though I think I'm horrible at it. Also, if you win this keep in mind I'm not amazing at it so if you could keep the request to a color and character. Here's an example (with and without border):

The giveaway will close on April 25. To enter you just need to reblog and be following me.
Thank you again for 700+! It means the world! I love you all! - Mod Ibuki
not stating my sexuality
If you support gay marriage reblog this. If you're on the homophobic side, keep scrolling.

As a bisexual, it sickens me that some people WILL keep scrolling.
