Now, I know that Remus’ patronus is a wolf (in cannon, I mean— I usually headcannon it as a massive dog) because he’s a werewolf, but I don’t think that that would be his animagus form. I also don’t think that Lily’s patronus being a doe makes her animagus form a doe, because that’s boring as all hell.

Personally, I think that Remus’ animagus form would be either a mouse or a sheep. A mouse because they’re incredibly clever, but also very kind, and I find it funny to think that the werewolf’s animagus form is one of the smallest mammals out there, also he kind of just reminds me of a mouse (plus, it would be sweet to see Peter not being the tiniest Marauder— I think that him not being the smallest would’ve prevented him from building resentment and then betraying them). A sheep just for the irony of a wolf in sheep’s clothing puns.

I think that Lily’s animagus form would be a mountain lion. They’re notoriously good mothers, they’re strong, they’re fast, but they’re pretty nice (by big cat standards). Also, I just think the gives off big cat vibes. She’s either a mountain lion or a lioness.

Sirius may not have liked Regulus, but, as an older sibling, I promise you, Sirius sure as hell loved Regulus.

harry is sort of the sirius of the golden era though isn’t he. in my head at least. like his home life is shitty, he’s loyal to a fault, he gets basically taken in by his best mate’s parents but does go his own way. he inherits a good amount of gold from his decent family members (his parents and sirius). is spat on by society & the government over something that isn’t even his fault. bit of a bitch. a cheeky little fucker. has light eyes and dark hair. would probably kill for his codependent buds if absolutely necessary. probably also has the gal (and self-imposed guilt) to stay in azkaban for 12 years before escaping on willpower alone.

Remus has never felt like he can voice his love for physical touch. Sirius has never liked physical touch.

Oh my god, you’re so right! I’m imagining that the above scene took place in their dorm, because, again, traumatized and terrified, respectively. But even when they’re not on top of each other (like they are in private) they’re always touching somehow, even if it’s just holding hands. They’re physically close in public, but like Velcro in private.

WolfStar is disgustingly cuddly, even though Sirius is, typically, quite averse to physical contact (traumatized and physically abused) and Remus isn’t too touchy (scared people will find out his secret). The running excuse is that Remus is cold all the time (true) and Sirius doesn’t care (untrue) and is always warm (true). Before they go public with their relationship, everyone is mind boggled.

“You don’t care… that Moony is, quite literally, sitting in your lap, inside your jumper with you.”

“One time, Marlene hugged you from behind without sufficient warning and you didn’t let anyone touch you for a week straight.”

“And?”

“… And now you and Moony have been cuddling for well over an hour, but you’re still sitting there doing nothing about it?”

“Y’know, Si, if you want me to move—”

“Who the fuck said I wanted you to move?”

“Well, James is right— you don’t usually like—”

“You’re cold, I’m warm. You’re all cuddled in. We’re both comfortable. Why should you move? That makes no sense, Moons.”

“Yeah, you’re right. That doesn’t make sense. I’ll stay here.”

“But? Padfoot? Hates? Being? Touched?”

Imagine this as Sirius Black, but, when he calls out for “mama” he’s actually calling Effie and Minnie, because they were his real mothers. Imagine he calls for Andy, for Reggie, for Uncle Alphy, because they were his allies in the House of Black. Imagine he calls for Jambi, for Remsie, for Petey, because that’s what he called them before their nicknames.

im a fucking sucker for the “character gets so badly injured that they can’t think clearly and start calling for help in a distressingly vulnerable way.” characters who start using nicknames for their friends they haven’t used since they were kids. characters who start begging for their brother they haven’t seen in years to be there. characters who would usually use their parents’ names or call them mother/father/etc crying out mama when they go down. u understand.

I hate when people think that Sirius has to be either tall, strong, hyper-masculine, big-dick, badass, witty, sarcastic talented, and brilliant, or he has to be short, weak, extra-feminine, little-dick (NOT DEROGATORY FFS), useless, dumb, silly, pathetic, cross-dresser twink. This is completely ridiculous.

I would like to suggest an alternative (that is way closer to cannon and actually keeps his character intact, as opposed to whatever fannon is doing to my boy): Sirius Black is tall, strong, hairy, tattooed, talented, brilliant, scarred, and a badass… but he also wears skirts, makeup, and has long hair, which he styles frequently, wears a lot of jewelry and is heavily pierced.

There is no need to make him one of two extremes. Let him be a big, muscular man who wears feminine AND masculine clothing. Let him be more than stereotypical gay guy. Let him maintain his personality. Let him be what you all make Remus into (I could go on another rant about that in this post but I’ve already done that too much).

Let’s stop deciding that him being gay has to make him a derogatory, homophobic stereotype of a queer man.
